Biography

Dr. Yee was born in Michigan but has lived in Texas for over 40 years. He is an honors graduate of Houston Baptist University and received his eye training from UTMB-Galveston and the University of Texas Health & Science Center. He also received specialized training in Cornea/ External Disease at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Respected throughout the world as a leading corneal surgeon and researcher, Dr. Yee is dedicated to scientific research, teaching, and the improvement of vision. His efforts and accomplishments have been recognized with the awarding of the prestigious Joe M. Greene Jr., Endowed Chair in Ophthalmology. He is director of the International LASEK Congress and has been Program Director of the International Society of Refractive Surgery.Dr. Yee lives in Houston. He enjoys educating practicing physicians, ophthalmologists, optometrists, medical students and his patients alike. He is dedicated to providing quality and innovative eye care at home and abroad.
