Horrible person. I was brought in for depression and he diagnosed me falsely for borderline personality disorder. I have only gotten better with help for post traumatic stress disorder which I developed after being raped. The horrid misdiagnosis has caused only more damage to me mentally for years now. I now know that my tendency to have panic attacks and a brief period of cutting and suicidal ideation stems from a trauma I suffered through, not through the devastating and misinformed label of BPD, which I was casually tagged with through this "doctor". Other psychiatrists I have seen have actually helped me by addressing the root cause of my depression/anxiety or more accurately PTSD by recognizing the abuse I have been through in my life as well as traumatic events. Seeking another opinion or two from healthier doctors and counsellors have been incredibly healing. I have healed myself quite a bit with proper diet and trauma counselling, and seeking other opinions which have proved very productive.

My son, who is mentally ill and has been previously diagnosed as a schizophrenic was seen by this quack and he diagnosed him with borderline personality disorder. We were told that there was nothing that he could do for our son. Our son was told there was no treatment or medication that would help him with this diagnosis. He then went on to say that our son "needs to be brought to his knees and then maybe he will want to change himself." He spent the next year in and out of a psychosis and on the street self medicating. He was robbed, abused and beaten because Dr Watler wrote in his file that our son was faking mental illness and he had used up all the mental health resources available to him. Our only option left to help our son was to have him charged and brought to trial for a forensic assessment. He was diagnosed with serious schizophrenic illness and is currently receiving excellent treatment due to the amazing and caring staff at an out area hospital. Dr, Watler needs to be brought to his knees in hopes that no other families have to suffer through what we went though.

hands down the best mental health worker/ psychiatrist I have ever come across.

and I have seen many from the island all the way to Saskatchewan.

I simply cannot recommend this doctor highly enough.

if you get the opportunity to see him before you see anyone else save yourself a lot of pain

Dr. Watle3r is extremely unprofessional and has no memory of his patients. He is not concerned with his patients wellbeing and professes to know them although he only sees them once a month. Today he said, last time I came in to see him. I was crazed and incoherent. He said I sat in a certain chair and was in such an altered state that I don't even remember. Last time I saw him it was not even in that office or in that chair. he said I had a smile and a frown on my face at the same time and I could not answer basic questions like how are you today.
He said I was doing much better now on the medication ,despite the fact that Iinformed him I had a brain tumor from the medication and a blistering rash and breast cancer that I had to heal myself with avocado seeds and mango seeds. Look up the research for mango seeds and avocado seeds. I hope Watler is fired and imprisoned for attempted murder on several accounts because he has injected poisons into his patients and has tried to kill them. I know Watlersline was something he tends to use more often than not on patients and I hope he will be leaving the practice of medicine or perhapswill be institutionalized himself because he has no rational.

My mom has been a psychiatric patent if his since 1996. My dad has also suffered through anxiety/stress/depression, and has done nothing for him. What really did it for me, was when he told my dad that HE was the problem for my mother's episodes, and had caused a very ugly, and sad break up of my family.
He also never seemed to actually find the root of my mother's breakdowns. Just mess with her medications. He is an overpaid jerk who needs to be replaced by someone who is NOT. WATLER. He honestly does not deserve "dr" in his title.

Dr. Watler has been my doctor since 2005. I have found him to be patient, calm and supportive. He has tried many different strategies to help me, not just drugs.
