My Husband was seen by her in emergency, she was rude, no bedside manner and was absolutely disrespectful to me when asking questions. My husband has been dealing with a staph infection for 4 months, she had ZERO interest in doing any kind of tests or looking into anything. Pushed a bunch of pills and that was it. I have been going to innisfail hospital for 27yrs, as well as the clinic in town and I am disgusted by her behaviour and her lack of care for others around her.

Extremely insulted and sickened by her rhetoric with staff and patients. Will be filing a formal complaint on the automatic assumptions she made while discussing her concerns about my situation with her nurses. Beyond appalled.

I was unsure the severity of my daughters eye injury, and after filling out the form and confirming with 811 that I should see a dr, we had the very good fortune of having Dr Shokeir as the emergency dr. She was very kind, patient, helped my child out and really spoke to her on her level.

When I mentioned a sensory issue, she noticed it and asked about asd. I have been working super hard to ensure my child has access to the services she needs and getting diagnoses as needed, and it’s mind blowing that someone who spent only 20 minutes with my child could pick up these subtleties.

Either way if you end up with this dr providing care for you or a loved one, trust you are in incredible, knowledgeable and compassionate hands.

She is the best doctor we’ve had in Innisfail. She is kind, efficient, very knowledgeable, and has a sense of humor. If your going to the ER, you want her! Sadly she only works at the ER.

My daughter only has seen her in the emergency room. But she is fantastic! Gentle and made my 2 year old feel at ease with something uncomfortable. Amazing!

My second doctor visit in three days to get help and a diagnosis. She was thorough and kind. Was able to find out what was wrong and helped me out. I really appreciated the attention and diagnosis. Gave me some meds which helped immensely and immediately. She took the time to check me over properly. Loved her!
