Most of the staff are very young, inexperienced, and immature. It's often difficult to reach them by phone, so if you have an emergency or just want to pay a bill, you have to leave a message but they don't always return your call. When leaving, if you forget to pay, they come chase you down, coming around the desk and into the lobby, as opposed to just sending a bill. It's a poorly managed clinic. Go to Pacific NW Fertility instead. The difference is night and day, and Pacific NW are absolutely wonderful with many mature professional staff and physicians and all visits are priced reasonably where Dr. Johnson's prices, especially the visits with him are four times what they cost at PNW. I guess he thinks he's worth it but his staff and service most definitely aren't. They're horrible. Many leave his clinic for Pacific NW. Also, if you need a donor egg, Dr. Johnson's clinic has about 12 donors to choose from (one black donor only), as compared to 90+ total for Pacific NW.

I did Clomid/IUI through Overlake Reproductive. I only got to actually meet Dr. Johnson a couple of times, but he seemed very knowledgable and understanding. The front desk staff was AWFUL & not very friendly (which is the 1st point of contact & actually almost drew me away from the office - having a friendly/caring staff is very important!) I worked mostly with Julie, who was excellent! Jo was OK, but a little on the gruff side. Overall though, I did end up with beautiful twins :) So nothing to bad to say!

Having recently gone through an IVF cycle at the ORH I cannot recommend the ORH clinic. - We were “handed off” to the new doctor at the clinic, even though we had requested several times to be with Dr Kevin Johnson. Our requests and choice regarding which doctor to see were ignored. - The front desk service level was poor. Several times we came in for scheduled appointments and the front desk would say there is no appointment on the calendar. Other times they would incorrectly say there are meds/schedules for pickup. - Coordination with other clinics was poor, leaving us to coordinate between clinics. - After the embryo implantation failed, the head nurse (Jo) erroneously told my wife: “no problem we still have some frozen embryos that we can use in the next cycle”. In fact there were no frozen embryos to use. - The fees, at about $35,000 for one IVF cycle with donated egg from relative seemed way too high. This was a poor experience and I would NOT recommend the ORH clinic.
