I am 76 years old and when I was 19, my husband knocked two of my front teeth loose. Over the years I have had so much work done to my mouth by Dentists in Chicago, Connecticutt, New York, San Francisco and Colorado. Michael is by far the best dentist ever. His skills are far beyond other dentists. He is willing to try things and has done great things for my poor mouth. Yes he is expensive, but it seems that almost all of them are now and if Michael does it, it is worth it. He also listens to me and if I ask him to try a less expensive method, be absolutely tries to do so. Other dentists have done destructive things to my teeth and Michael won't.

Dr Adler practices neuromuscular dentistry. This alone sets him apart from many other dentists. The fact he can perform full mouth restorations says a lot about his skill set as well. If you looking for a highly qualified dentist and are willing to pay more for this pedigree of service, I would recommend Dr Adler and his staff.

Cares about your mouth only to the extent he can profit from it. Stay away.

Dr. Adler is very nice. The only problem was the hygienist was rude to me.

Dr. Adler and his staff are horrible and the practice as a whole is very dysfunctional. You can tell that the Dr. only sees how much money you're bringing to him and not the person sitting in the chair. You can clearly see that he makes his staff miserable. You can feel the tension in the room and multiple times he barked orders at his staff with a very aggressive tone. It made my already uncomfortable visit even worse. The receptionist is always snacking on candy bars whenever I come in and wearing unattractive clothing that exposes her backside. The hygienist is very catty and sends of the vibe that she believes she is better than everyone else. I don't know who is more aggressive, the dental assistant or the Dr. During my appointment I actually heard the two of them getting into a fight! While I was waiting to be worked on! I needed a crown, but he persisted to encourage me to spend thousands of $s on a full mouth restoration. Very unhelpful, unkind, unprofessional and money hungry.

I have been going to Dr. Adler for 4 years. After each visit I slowly started to realize that I needed to find a new dentist. Upon my last visit I was severely shocked twice in my mouth while he was giving me a numbing shot. It was awful! He was hurried and working on other patients. When he was working on me he was very rough and caused my jaw to cramp. Also, was very unprofessional to the dental assistant whilst working over me. Everytime I go in there are totally new people. So obviously it's a high turn over sort of place.

Upon eating a baguette, something shattered in my left TMJ. I could only open my mount slightly, bring my teeth together, or chew without without pain. Bone was grinding on bone. Dr Adler was able to completely restore the joint with his expertise in neuromuscular dentisty and full mouth reconstructions. He maybe the first dentist ever to solve this kind of TMJ problem without surgery. Surgery is the standard treatment which relieves the pain but leaves the joint greatly compromise. If you have a similar problem, I suggest you either see Dr Adler or have your dentist consult with him.

Wow. I'm shocked, dismayed and baffled by the horrendously negative reviews by others. I have been well cared for by Dr. Adler since 1994. My unlucky genetics, clenching and grinding have made for high maintenance teeth since before early adulthood. My dental expenses make a huge dent in my income. As such, I have always been mindful of the potential for other dental care that might be more cost effective than Dr. Adler. He has always been quite open with me about his rates being at or a bit above average for the area. I once tried another dentist and went RUNNING back to Adler. His practice has always utilized the newest technology. His competence, integrity and professionalism is unwavering. I have NEVER had an unpleasant or painful experience in his chair. As a matter of fact, I relax so much in his chair that I often struggle to stay awake! Dr. Adler has earned my loyalty for the duration. Thanks for reading, -- Lee

Have been suggested for a partial crown, decided to wait and it was never mentioned again. Crowns are extra large and I'm a little concerned that they didn't go all the way over the tooth, possibly exposing my root tooth to decay. Think he has a money motive a good portion of the time.
