Dr Naini has been my back surgeon for years. I have injured my back as a paramedic and he has been able to fix every issue when it reached surgical necessity. He is methodical, diligent, compassionate, and a miracle doctor. He plans his operations with your involvement and supplies you with terrific detailed handout that is full of necessary pre-op, procedure, and post-op information. If you want a back surgeon this IS the right Dr to see. There just arent enough words to describe this Harvard/Johns Hopkins trained miracle worker.

Dr. Naini saved my life!! I was finished as a human being, my pain was so great, that I was going to lose everything I've ever worked for, and Dr. Naini came along, calmly typed his ideas, saw my condition, and did a surgery that I've never looked back from. He is a Great person.

The best surgeon ever. He completely changed my life for the better. This man is so kind that he gives you his cell numbers, he calls you to check on you, even on weekends and nights. The world could use more Drs like Dr Naini.

Dr. Naini performed 4 surgeries on me. The first two were emergency status due to a large brain tumor. The 3rd was to correct the meningitis are contracted due to a mistake when he didn't suture me up correctly after my previous surgery. I even told him in the hospital that my incision was weeping. He met me in the ER several times to suture my incision. After doing this 3 times he admitted he needed to go back in to fix the problem. He even told me in another month I would have been dead. I should have never gone back to him yet I was referred to him again when I started having extreme headaches. He indicated what he thought the problem was and scheduled another surgery. He was going to fix the problem and go in the same route he did with my previous surgeries. He wasn't able to get to the correct spot so he kept me on the table for a few extra hours while he figured out what to do. His solution was to put a catheter in my brain to fix the problem. Well this did not fix the problem and I went and saw another neurosurgeon. He literally said what Naini did was insane, and he was surprised I even survived the surgery. This new neurosurgeon had to go in and remove the catheter that Naini placed because it was too risky to keep it in. So all in all I had two extra surgeries due to Naini. The other neurosurgeon said that Naini's use of clips is at least 10 years outdated and they could be what is contributing to my chronic pain. When I first went to Naini I was in emergency status and got whatever surgeon was on call. I kick myself daily for going back to him.

I found this physician to be impersonal, condescending, and narcissistic. He attempted to challenge my symptoms, stating there was a failure to correlate with the MRI results. Once I obtained a copy of the radiologist's report, I discovered he had been looking at the wrong side!! My films correlated completely with my symptoms. When I later contacted him and challenged his interpretation, he said that the radiologist's interpretation was wrong. During my visit, I sat in a chair across the desk from him while he spent the majority of the visit looking at the records and documenting, without looking at me or interacting with me, other than to challenge my symptoms. He never conducted a thorough exam. I absolutely would warn patients away from this person.

Avoid this "Surgeon" at all costs! He did surgery on my back & I have been in constant pain since. He gives you a "Manual" to answer your questions & God forbid if you ask him a question. His response is "Read the book!".I developed a bad bladder infection after my surgery, ending up in ER.He happened to come by, & demanded to know why I didn't have my precious "manual" with me!Immediately after surgery, when I was still half under anesthesia, he asked if my pain was gone. Because I was medicated so much, I said it was. Then at my post-op visit, when I complained my pain was back, he snapped, basically calling me a liar, saying, "You said in hospital it was gone!" I had previously had a pain stimulator inserted with wires on both sides of my spine. He was to remove them, but didn't.He said they were no problem, I could still have an MRI with them there. I since have had several doctors and MRI techs say the MRI magnets will rip them out of my back or catch fire! This guy is rude & scary!

I went to a number of doctors and neurologists to help with my neck and back pain. Traction and narcotics made my life hell for over 18 months. Dr. Naini immediately found the problem, and after the surgery I feel great! A night and day difference. Dr. Naini saved my life, and I enjoyed every moment with him.

This man did what he described as his 'extensive' films on my spine, which was suspecting to be the cause of the stabbing pain from my neck and all the way down my back. However, after reviewing his detailed and 'extensive' films, Dr. Naini could not find anything wrong with me. So I suffered in pain for another 15 months until Dr. Cole at NW Spine and Sports ordered a simple MRI which clearly showed that my spine had been compressed on 3 different levels. To this day, I still do not know the cause for this and now, its been 8 years since this journey began and I've had 3 surgeries so far, with a 4th scheduled for next month. Yet, I will never forget that it was Dr. Naini whom I sat across from, that sat across from me and told me there was 'absolutely nothing of significance' that he could find to justify the symptoms that I was describing. REALLY????? Hmmm.... and although I am glad that he has brought so much relief to so many others,,, I was not meant to be one of them.

Dr Naini is the most conscientious Dr. I know, and after two hip surgerys, open heart surgery and general care he's the best. I had a pituary adenoma (brain tumor) which he carefully excised during a 12 surgery. It was a tricky operation because I had a fibrous tumor, (difficult to remove) After the operation I felt so good that I wrongfully over exerted myself, causing the transsphenoidal surgery to lead spinal fluid. Dr Naini, personnaly met me in the ER to assess my condition. He promptly attended to me every morning, until I was ready to go. Contrary to the negative review above, my experince with the nurses at Evergreen confirmed that he is the most conscientious and attentive Dr they know. Returns all calls promptly and explains the condition thoroughly. He's a 5+ out of 5.
