Dr. Fox has a wonderful bedside manner. He has been treating my son for testicular issues since puberty and my son has grown to trust and appreciate Dr. Fox's opinion and methodologies. Would recommend anyone who needs more hand holding for younger patients.

Dr. Fox is extremely knowledgeable regarding thyroid issues, very kind, and gentle. I trust him thoroughly and highly recommend him. However, it is extremely difficult to get an appointment with him (even if you are an existing patient) and they take forever to get back to you with test results. I was told last week that they had the results, but the doctor had not had a chance to read them. It is now 6 days later, I have called the office 3 times, and I am now told that someone will call me tomorrow. I am not sure what is going on and now I am worried.

Dr. Fox is a rare endocrinologist. (I see him for type 1 diabetes.) He does NOT scold! (As I have had many A1C's that were much higher than they should have been!) He does explain, with a calm, caring demeanor, that he can't help you unless you are willing to help yourself. He listens respectfully and responds with action. (blood work, etc.) He makes suggestions as to the latest technology and methods that may help you, but is fine with you sticking to what works for you. My only small complaint is that Boulder Endocrinology has so many patients, it takes a while to get in. Schedule your appointments at LEASE two months in advance. I schedule four months in advance.

Interested in patient's condition, orders the right tests. Isn't dismissive of patient's condition and doesn't blow it out of proportion. Fox's staff call with test results in a timely fashion.
