Dr. Aranas was my doctor for 25 years, but she has gotten so busy it seems she just doesn't have the time and care that she used to. I am made to feel like I am just another number in line by her and her staff. It was with a heavy heart that I changed doctors, but I felt like it was for the best.

She was my doctor for nearly 30 years, until I moved away from Columbus. Even then, for a couple of years I still drove over 100 miles to see her, rather than find a new doctor. I couldn't imagine that anyone could replace her. She's the best!

We just moved to the area in February. We found out in April that we were expecting. I made an appointment with the office. The receptionist was a little short and dry but everyone is different. Dr. Aranas was never on time for the appointments. She fussed about being a little overweight. Then fussed because I didn't gain enough weight. She never looks at charts, asked the same questions like did we test you for gestational diabetes ( which she did and forgot every single appointment. The worst problem I had with her is calling me back about my concerns, as I had a miscarriage the year before. When I had a SERIOUS problem and called she never called me back. I finally took it upon myself to go to the ER and it saved mine and my daughter's life. She doesn't take time with her patients and treats them like an assembly line. I will never go back to her. She is good for older patients that are no longer in their child bearing years.

Have had MULTIPLE issues with Dr. Aranas' office- the most frustrating being that I can't EVER seem to get a hold of anybody in the office because they don't work on Wednesdays and they seem to always switch their phones over to the answering service (who are SO rude) well before the time they're scheduled to. I asked Dr. Aranas to check for a yeast infection at my very first OB appointment. When I went back a month later for an "urgent" appointment about a yeast infection she said "oh yes, I see you did have one" A MONTH AGO!!!! The office staff is SO rude and when they wanted to change around my appointment to hear the heartbeat and I protested because I wanted my husband there, I got an eye roll and a huge sigh. Ridiculous. I'm switching to be seen at MACH. I've never been so disappointed in care in my life- and this is my 3rd pregnancy! I don't need someone to hold my hand, but knowledge and a pleasant attitude aren't too much to ask for!

I can't comprehend how test results from a month ago cannot be found. My husband and I recently were pcsd to fort Carson, before I left Georgia I had blood drawn to see if the baby had down syndrome. I called today, almost a month later to get my results and they couldn't find it in their system. That means to me that no one ever checked the results to see if anything is wrong with my baby. Dr Aranas is an inadequate physician!!! Don't go to her!!

Dr. Aranas is a minimalist. Literally, this women has rushed through all of my appointments. She has never asked me how I am feeling or asked me about my symptoms. Dr. Aranas did not want to perform an ultrasound until I was 20 weeks along, however, we weren't sure of how far a long I am because I have irregular periods. What's the point of having a doctor who just rushes through your appointments and doesnt discuss anything about your pregnancy. This is my first pregnancy and she has not made me feel comfortable at all. I am outraged by her because not only does she have years of experience but she's a woman. She should know what it's like to be pregnant for the first time. If it weren't for the internet, I would be completely clueless about what's going on with my baby and my body. I would never recommend her to anyone!! She needs to retire especially if she has lost interest for her job!!!

Dr.Aranas was my OBGYN over 20 yrs ago and she was great! I moved away from the area but returned 10 years ago.I had problems with fibroid tumors and went back to Dr. Aranas and to my dissapointment, she is NOT the same as before.I regret allowing her to perform my hysterectomy. She seems uncaring, in a rush, and a little "spacy" She cut my bladder during the surgery and she went on vacation right after the surgery! I was not aware of the fact that she was going to do that.I am now in search of a new Dr.

Best experience i have ever had giving birth to my daughter. She made me feel so comfortable during my delivery. She always spent an appropriate time with me in appointments. Awesome Doctor!
