This lace was the best, I was a high risk pregnancy and he was always taking special care of me. My husband was always welcome, the staff was great to both of us. I had really bad asthma while I was carrying my baby and could have died several times, but he knew exactly what to do for me. I spent several times in the hospital, and he was always checking on me. He is the best, and years later I still hold him in high regard.

Dr. Anzaldo has delivered many babies in my family, so it was obvious I would go to him. His staff is rude and disorganized. I schedualed an appointment over a month in advance, and when I went in, they didn't have me schedualed. The front desk lady asked me in front of the whole waiting room what I was there for. They sent me away and re-schedualed my appointment. I should have known then it was a bad sign. Dr. Anzaldo seemed distant while I was talking to him. Once he would answer my question it was typically a short answer. I just didn't feel as though he cared. I understand Dr's go through this a million times, but it was my first pregnancy and I had questions. Maybe I got to him on a wrong day, but I had high hopes of him and his staff, and when I left, I felt like I had 100 more questions I wanted answers to.

Dr Anzaldo is the best OBGYN I have ever had. I was leary using a male doctor to deliver my baby, but he made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend him to anybody.

Ref. to Dr. "A" by PCP; nice at first, w/all the answers, which on day 1 was a specific surgery. I got a call RE surgery; scheduled for wrong surgery. New date set; I f/up; day prior to new date; rec'd call from the DR himself; said he they did not have me on SURG schedule (I had detailed info from SX coordinator RE date, time) F/up again w/him, met with SX coord. to set date; she noticed he (Dr. "A") AGAIN wrote down a different albeit wrong procedure; set it up for what I was supposed to have. Surg date: consent form did not include all we had discussed; I would not sign 'til he noted all to be done on form. I had Surgery. At post-op he said all was FINE, but that was/is NOT true. Symptoms that brought me to him are worse; U/S shows what he was supposed to remove & SAID he DID is still there; no reasonable explanation; he recom. indep. 2nd opin, gives me name of MD I know he does his surgeries with; NOT an independent 2nd opinion! MD frazzled; seems forgetful & not accountable.

Dr. Anzaldo is AMAZING! I had a couple of bad experiences with his staff, but his NPs are stellar. Every time I called with a question, I was treated with respect and the question was either answered right away or the same day. I had a pretty bad fall when I was about 8 months pregnant and they responded very quickly and got me the care my baby and I needed within minutes. As the others have said, the office wait can be a little annoying, but just bring a book! I think an occasional long wait is a good sign- you want a doctor who is busy! Dr. Anzaldo was unable to deliver my baby, but it was an uncomplicated delivery- no big deal! However, he did call to check up with me a couple of times after the baby was born- it was so thoughtful! I'm glad I chose him!

After 2 miscarriages I was referred to Doctor Anzaldo. When I got pregnant again, he immediately took action and did his best to maintain the pregnancy. Due to medical circumstances he had me coming in every 2 weeks, was always supportive and cheerfull when I was feeling fearfull. Respects it that you decline to take certain medication when you have doubts. Is very personal in his approach and has a wonderful friendly staff. But..he does not always listen to what you say and this way things get missed. So do insist if you have a concern or question. Also, the test for diabetics was performed much too late (3rd trimester). Apparently I had gestational diabetics for serveral months by then. So overall: yes he is a good doctor who is very knowledgable and supportive. But take ownership and do not rest your case. Also, ask for medication side effects before he prescipes it, as he will not tell you. There he seems to run on automatic pilot. But he will always be there for you!

He came very highly recommended to me. So I was very disappointed by my experience with him. He made me feel as if my questions were a bother and I was taking up his valuable time. He may have heard the same questions before, but this was my first time. He put my on a fertility regimen that made me physically ill, but didn't give me any notice of the possible side effects. I certainly would not and have not recommended him to anyone else. A year later, I am pregnant with my first child and have a doctor who actually has the time to answer my questions. Perhaps I caught him on a bad day, but that was my experience.
