Dr Whitfield is the one of the best GPs I have ever had consultations with. He was always extremely polite, as well as always being very kind and caring throughout my time at Durham University. In particular, he was extremely supportive during some more difficult times - particularly after a close family member passed away. He always went ‘above and beyond’. One time when I was a bit unwell during a consultation, he very kindly followed up in the evening with a phone call to check that I was feeling better. I will never forget such an act of kindness and I was very fortunate throughout my time at Durham University to have been under the excellent care of Dr Whitfield.
