I saw Dr Smith to discuss the renewal of my pain management prescription. I found him very thorough, knowledgeable and polite. He took the time to go over the full history relating to my complaint. I am a professional cellist and have suffer from playing-related shoulder pain. He did not make the unhelpful suggestion of reducing the amount of time I play the instrument, and discussed the potential long term effects of the anti-inflammatory medication as well as offering helpful advice on reducing my intake of these.
