I find the overall feel of the office very pleasent, the staff wonderful. Dr. Ashref Jeeva is polite and listens but I do find that he is limited in his thinking - only thinks 'inside' the box. He does well with regular problems in the body (ie: heart, digestion, infections) but not with problems that are not as easily defined/figured out such as: depresion or hormone issues.

Dr Jeeva is extremely knowledgeable, has a pleasant personality, & puts you at ease. The office staff are very friendly and I have yet to have to wait. Cannot find any fault...he is great!

This is an exceptional physician. Thorough and kind. Hospital and community work. Takes call and offers most rural Family doc services. A well respected member of the medical and public community. An outstanding physician who any patient would be lucky to have.

Next to useless, has no bedside manners. Thinks that emergency Docs only work 8 a.m. to 5 p.m..

As our family physician, Dr. Jeeva misdiagnosed four different family members suffering from acute cases of appendicitis. In the last case if my ex wife had not demanded that Jeeva come to the hospital to check on my sister Deb, she would probably have died. The gynecologist who met her at the hospital in Calgary immediately recognized that her appendix had ruptured and took action. He said that she would probably not have survived to make her Jeeva/planned appointment with him (the specialist) the next day. Otherwise Jeeva is a nice enough guy, but goodness gracious, with Deb's father and two brothers suffering acute appendicitis problems earlier and he decided she had an ovarian cyst?!
