I've seen Dr. Rebel since i was 14, she was the only dr to properly diagnose me and basically saved my ovary with surgery. She does have a dry sense of humor, but she has always been open to discussing my options, and taking the time to go over the side effects of each course of action. Yes there has been times shes been late for appointments, never by a significant amount of time, and yes when i'm actually with her its a very quick interaction, but thats seeing a specialist in Canada. Her staff is amazing, and have always been extremely helpful and kind.

Absolutely horrible. Prior to my procedure I was told I wouldn’t feel nor remember anything but I FELT EVERYTHING and it was excruciating!
I was visibly crying and telling this woman how much things hurt and she did not care at all!
The resident doctor kept saying “we should be giving her more pain medication” but Dr Rebel refused and continued on doing a half assed job and by half assed I mean she only checked my follicles once instead of flushing them a few times like my usual doctor does and like they’re supposed to in order to make sure they’re not missing any eggs.
In my situation, I could understand the hesitancy in providing pain medication but when you have never done drugs, had any drug issues, have never so much as consumed alcohol or had any addiction issues and you can see your patient is in visible distress, stop and do something! Don’t continue on and tell them they’ll “be fine”.
This experience was absolutely traumatizing and to top it off, doctors misestimated medication timing costing me thousands of dollars and so much heartache.
Avoid this doctor at all costs, she’s incredibly unprofessional and doesn’t care about her patients at all.

Repeatedly late for work and refuses to apologize for it. Rude over the phone and lacks basic social skills and bedside manner you’d expect from someone in her position. Rude over the phone. Slightly less so in person. Uninformed about patient condition and did not address adequately. Forgot to order a test.

I must say I read the reviews for Dr.Rebel prior to meeting her and am happy to say that she was extremely pleasant. I understand that everyone has different expectations going into a sensitive appointment however I found that whether in person or via telephone Dr Rebel was knowledgeable, kind and answered any questions I had. I think if you need answers she is great at helping you find them and if she cannot she will refer you. Sure, it was a different experience than maybe my own doctor but at the end of the day she did her job and she did it well! Thank you Dr Rebel!

Had to see Dr. Rebel on a few occasions leading up to my first round of IVF. Terrible bedside manner!! After 10 days of drug treatment I was scheduled for an ultrasound that she was over an hour late to… the nurses continually apologized for the delay and advise they were still waiting for the Dr. to arrive. Once on the table she advise I only had 7 follicles and said “you don’t really have a lot of eggs”, removed the ultrasound wand and walked out. I was mortified!! Made me feel like I wasn’t going to be able to continue with the scheduled IVF. The nurse spent extra time assuring me to continue and apologized for her comments. Completely rude and based on the many poor reviews,should not be practicing!!!

Staff were great at the EPAU... other than Dr. Rebel. You would think a doctor working with women who have serious pregnancy complications would have empathy... instead she acts cold and offers 0 helpful information as she would prefer to straight-up ignores legitimate questions; I left feeling unsupported and scared. I hate that I have to currently work with her as she has the worst bedside manner I've ever seen!!

She is rude, doesn’t answer your questions and wants to get rid of you right away. I am glad I only had to see her once. The other doctors and staff are amazing ! She should just retire and keep her misery to herself.

I've been seeing Dr. Rebel for many years. Some of these comments make me really sad. I went in as a teenager with painful periods, she sent me for an ultrasound and was very open about my options. When one didn't work, she gladly offered me another one. She's never been the warmest or friendliest doctor, but she always takes time to talk to me personally before delving into my health issues. I really trust her knowledge and she has always taken me seriously and referred me to other tests that I needed. I've never had to fight for her to take me seriously. I do feel a bit rushed sometimes and do understand where some of these comments are coming from, but I absolutely trust Dr. Rebel.

Ignores questions and concerns about endometriosis. Makes you wait for months on end for simple blood work that she already has the results for. Incomplete and missing requisitions. Terrible bedside manner. Someone needs to do us a favor and retire or quit.
