When it came to considering my concerns and questions, I felt the doctor brushed me off and was not interested in having an informed patient. As soon as I was pregnant, I saw his nurses instead of him. They were nice, but offered advice that didn't take my current medical situation in to account, and they also kept me in limbo about whether my pregnancy was progressing or about to miscarry as my last one had. I was not pleased with Dr. Noorda's attitude toward natural birth. He stated that he would medicate me out of a concern for his own comfort. He only gave a brief nod toward the midwife who was practicing in his office, rather than having the courtesy to introduce me when it was clear I was interested that approach. I decided to find a provider who was a better fit for my needs.

I never felt like my concerns were addressed appropriately and felt like my thoughts regarding the birth of my child were dismissed and unimportant. There were small routine things that I felt could have and should have been caught much earlier. It didn't feel like there was open communication and any consideration to things I was experiencing. Dr. Noorda did not have the greatest bedside manner and I ended up switching doctors at 8 months pregnant because there was almost zero comfort in how thing were progressing.
