Dr Bellman is an excellent physician and chose to specialize in Urology bcuz his father, Sammy, a pharmacist, died of prostate cancer when in his 50s.

My entire experience with Dr. Bellman was positive.
During the consultation he fully explained everything. His team made sure I knew all the specifics before I left so there wouldn’t be any surprises come procedure day. Having been burned by non disclaimed charges that show up a month later, I really appreciated that.
The procedure was incredibly fast and easy. I felt totally cared for the entire time. Never in any real pain. All movements felt incredibly precise and deliberate; like he’s done it 10,000 times before.
Afterwards, the staff was again wonderful. They made sure I fully understood anything and everything related to post-op.
That was all great, but what really impressed me was the post op attention Dr. Bellman delivered. Daily check up emails and quick responses to any questions I had. Patient care is obviously his highest priority.

Kaiser doesn't do Rezum, so I had a very successful Rezum procedure with Dr. Gary Bellman in West Hills.

I asked the price and he replied immediately. Nice, since sometimes getting prices is difficult.

Doctor and staff were excellent. After two preliminary appointments, the 4/23/21 outpatient procedure included a steroid, an antibiotic, and two pain medications. Right before the procedure I received two local anesthetics and nitrous oxide. It took about 15 minutes.

Rezum involves a few weeks recovery as prostate tissue sloughs off and there is some pain / bleeding. It was uncomfortable. But the improvement in urinary tract function was dramatic, without side effects associated with other procedures. During recovery, Dr. Bellman responded quickly to Email questions. He has the rare ability to clearly answer questions without unnecessary elaboration, which make his replies very hard to misinterpret. More physicians should be able to do that. Highly recommended.

Dr Bellman was a great help to me. I was very anxious about my finasteride side effects. Dr Bellman advised me (totally for free) on the right dosage to take and precautions I could take to make sure my health is ok. A great doctor who Id highly recommend.

Can't get a live person on the phone. Left messages for two weeks trying to get a referral to another surgeon. Left messages requesting medical records and never got a call back so I went in person to pick up records. Staff didn't know how to print them out. He is in a new office. Very tacky, their "break room" is behind the receptionist. Doesn't give me much confidence looking at their snacks and microwave. No professionalism. Never going back to this guy.

My husband has been treating with Dr Bellman for over three years. He had kidney stones and while doing a CT scan for the stones, a small mass was detected. We were told that it was small, an incidental finding and to come back in 6 months for another scan. My husband had scans every six months and each time he was told there was no growth. WRONG! At the beginning of the year he returned again as directed and was told, well, yeah maybe the mass has been growing all along. Come back in 6 months for another scan. We requested records from the imaging center, and saw on each report how the mass was larger each time. If you go to this doctor, get a copy of your records because not only doesn't he communicate well he cuts and paste his notes and states he did exams he didn't do. and reading your records is the only way you will know what your condition truly is. After two other opinions, my husband's kidney cancer is finally being treated.

This is one of the worst doctor's offices I have ever been to. The staff was very rude and disorganized. I arrived early to fill out the paperwork, and gave the woman my Blue Shield card, and she looks at me and rudely says, the doctor is out of network. You have to pay cash. You mean you won't even bill Blue Shield for a portion of it? No. Why didn't you tell me you didn't accept my insurance when I gave you the information upon making the appointment? Oh, err, em... We can't tell what plan you have by the policy number. What? Why didn't' you ask me? Ask the patient? Yes. Well, err, em, I don't know why they didn't ask... Thanks for wasting my afternoon...
