Doc Bodley knows more than most patients will admit he tells the truth most can’t handle the truth and we must be honest with him he knows when we are lying I am currently getting a rather strong treatment what will I do if he retires he should though you can see his impatience his rushing around his impatience he has zero bedside manner and doesn’t waste his time with people who are druggies he knows how pain works in the human body and he knows all too well the effects of drugs and people who abuse them the best advice he gave me is that opioids aren’t the answer for my type of severe chronic pain he saved my life he’s willing to help you if you help yourself that’s solid

Dr Bodley is probably the worst doctor for working with. Always has a scowl, gruppy and needs to retire. He suffers from an inflated ego as much of the NBRHC OR staff do...they don't walk on water but think they are above everyone else in the hospital. I have heard countless horror stories about his mistreatment of patients both in-hospital or at his office, yet nobody has reported him to CPSO. You could be the nicest person to him and still get his bad attitude. His attitude is reminiscent of somebody who needs to retire and leave his practice. I am sure he has been reprimanded by the chief of staff on more than one occasion.

I was first referred to Dr. Bodley over 20 years ago after several bowel surgeries and resulting chronic adhesion pain. I was told In a compassionate way that I would have to learn to live with the pain. Unable to accept that diagnosis at the age of 50, I spent a good deal of time and energy having more surgeries, steroid injections and trying various opiates. None would take away the pain as well as when I was given the Fentanyl patch. I was on the patch for 7 years with the dosage increasing every year as I was becoming tolerant to the medication. I could not understand why I was experiencing more and more pain in the past year not knowing that at some point the pain medication starts to work in reverse and your pain gets worse. At that point I was addicted to Fentanyl, anxious and seriously depressed. Once again I was referred to Dr. Bodley and he helped me come off the Fentanyl patch, gave me advice on a meditation program called Headspace and began infusions to help control the pain. He could have said “I told you that opiates are not good for chronic pain” but he didn’t. I still have pain but the level is lower allowing me to again enjoy some quality of life. My family is happy to have me back in their life. I read some negative comments about the staff and I could not disagree more. Everyone has been extremely pleasant and kind to me at every appointment. Maybe one day there will be a pain killer that will not be addicting but until then I will rely on doctors like Dr. Bodley and his expertise.

dr bodley basically gave me my life back
after numerous surgeries to save my life I was left with severe pain
I spent 10 years searching for a dr that could help,
I had become addicted to the pain killers that other doctors had prescribed
over a long term .
within 1 day I was completely off the painkillers that I been on for 10 years ,
his treatments are a god send to me!!

Bodley should be awarded the “worst doctor in the world of medicine” award. Seems to enjoy playing god with people’s lives which is pretty sick and disgusting if you ask me. Has no business being allowed near humans or anything else living. Glorified pharmacist at best.

The guy is a clone. He requires a severe attitude adjustment in my opinion...maybe a practical exercise in chronic pain. Maybe if he experienced some crappy pain that will not ever go away, then maybe he wouldn't be such a dork. I can dream can't I? It's the jail time I wouldn't like.
