The services I was billed for pertained to the treatment of a cavity. They were unfortunately not performed professionally. The filling was applied to an existing cavity; the cavity may not have been appropriately treated and removed, and/or the filling was not sealed properly. As a result the filling is loose and will have to be eventually replaced. I contacted the the office regarding the issue. They hung up on me as I was explaining hoe unprofessional their services had been.

Have used this office for about seven years. Was always a good experience..until now. Made an appointment seven months ago for 8 am on a Monday. They have always called to confirm my appointment. This did not happen this time. I waited until Friday afternoon and decided to call myself to confirm I still had the appointment. When I told them my name they looked it up and told me I had an appointment at 9 am. I told them my card said 8. They responded that they do not open until 9 am (ok, no big deal, I'll go in at 9). When I got there, there was no dental assistant (no big deal) so Dr. Ton had to do all the work himself. When he started the suction machine malfunctioned. I would have to come back another time (no big deal, machine malfunctions happen). They scheduled my appointment for Friday at 8 am. I said, "are you sure, I thought you weren't open at 8 am?" She assured me they were. They were not open and have not returned numerous calls since then (BIG DEAL). Lost a customer here.

Had the same experience with his office staff. My spouse overheard the office personnel use racial slurs against Asians while he was waiting for me. Completely inappropriate! Called in to notify them of this behavior, and of course they denied it. Ironic how the dentist is Asian as well. I suppose the woman wasn't intelligent enough to know better.

Nothing against Dr. Ton. He is a great dentist, however his front desk secretary/office manager in the mt. Rose location is absolutely unhelpful and ineffective. Failed to return calls on several occasions or do her job.

Dr. Ton was a great. He is nice and knowledgable. His staff unfortunately was a complete mess. I always pay my account in full every visit but somehow got a letter 6 months later explaining I owed them $400 and if I didnt pay they were going to send my account to collections. I saw Dr Ton at least 3-4 times within that 6 months and not once was there a mention of the $400 that was owed. Only for the front desk person to say that she probably wasnt there when I checked out each of those times. I set up an appointment to get work done was told that my out of pocket expense was going to be $300 and I said ok. Let's do that. Then 6 months later they send me a bill for an additional $400. Saying that they miss calculated what my insurance was going to pay. How do they miscalculate by $400! If I knew it would cost me $700 then I never would have had the work done. I'm so upset about the whole issue especially since I didnt have $400 to pay, but they threatened my credit and I had no choice.
