She is one of the worst doctors I’ve ever seen she’s rude and condescending and always Hass to be right to the point of covering a test results prescribing drugs that would interact and kill me and then trying to cover it up just the worst experience ever stay away

My husband and I were looking for a second opinion regarding his upcoming heart surgery. We found Dr. Elizabeth Kaback on the internet. We set an appointment to see her but, after reading her ratings, we were hesitant to go. We then decided to just go and see what will happen. We were so glad we went to our appointment. It was a wise decision. Dr. Elizabeth Kaback is not only very knowledgeable in her field, she is also very courteous and very patient. She thoroughly explained my husband's heart problem and all the tests and procedures involved. She provided us all the time we needed to get our questions and concerns answered. She even took time to make a follow up call after our appointment which showed a genuine concern to her patients. We will definitely recommend her to our family and friends.

Have been a patient of Dr Kabak's for 5 years and she is the BEST doctor I have ever had. I had a stent put in and we worked together to get my numbers in line and to eat better and do it together. Yes she tells you like it is, but I don't want to have someone beat around the bush with my health. She takes the time to explain my tests and we work together as partners to keep my numbers in line. She knows her field and have recommended her to several people and they are patients and also enjoy her.

Dr Kaback is chronically late, condescending, rude, arrogant, lacks empathy or compassion, doesn’t allow for open communication nor makes herself available for Test result conversations, and leaves the patient feeling a complete lack or confidence in her assessment.

Astonished by some of the comments I have read. I have been seeing Dr. Kaback the past 6 years and feel she is nothing but compassionate and honest every time I have seen her. If you want to go to a doctor that is not upfront and honest with you, then see somehow who will lie to you! Dr. Kaback is straight forward and to the point. When it comes to my health, I don't mind brutal honesty. I can't thank her enough for all she has done for me these past few years. Highly recommend!

The good news is that she was roughly on time for my two appointments with her. And she spent a full hour with me on each - and appears to be very knowledgeable. The bad news is that I must agree with the other reviews here. Her "bedside manner" is pretty rough. She looked at AND ANSWERED two text messages during my first appointment. She is condescending, she interrupts, and she spends alot of time typing at the computer. She did not answer direct questions (because she was on a role for some other subject). At the end, she gave me the report of our visit - and it listed 2 things we never talked about. I cannot recommend her.

Dr. Kaback was rude, condescending, and of NO help to me. I've always had amazing experiences with the medical professionals at Scripps... until Dr. Kaback. She answered my questions with sarcastic remarks, made me feel humilated for even showing up at her office - I was referred by another doctor! She had absolutely no bedside manner. I will never see her again or recommend anyone to her.

She is very rude and a lousy doctor. She came in the exam room 1 hr. Late and Did not even apologize. Doesn't listen and stares at her computer most of the time.
I will never bring my mother back!

Dr Kaback has been my physician for a number of years. She is the most professional, knowledgeable and helpful physician I've ever had. I honestly credit my good health to her care and advice!

Wow. This Dr. is the worst I have ever experienced. My experiences are consistent with what others have posted about this Dr. I was referred to her for an atrial fibrillation condition. I saw her twice - the first time I found her rude, condescending, and apathetic. She'd ask me questions and then tell me my answers made no sense or were ridiculous. She wanted me to wear a heart monitor. I had a choice - one required a one month commitment (more real-time), the other two weeks (more convenient). When I asked what she would recommend as she stared at her computer waiting for my answer, her comment was "I don't care. Just pick one." I felt like I was ordering fast food. And the visit didn’t get any better – I felt that she didn’t want to be there. All I wanted to do was get out of that office vowing never to return to this doctor.
My wife talked me into going back the second time to get the results of the heart test. I didn’t think it could be worse, but it was. Didn’t ask how things how things were going, blasted through blood test results that she had forgotten that she had given me a month earlier, and didn’t listen or follow up on what I asked her about. When I asked her about the overall results from the heart monitor, which she had barely touched on, her comment to me as she stared at a computer screen pounding on keys was “Am I obtuse? I just told you the results of the test!” No, you’re not obtuse, you’re rude and lacking in any bedside manners. My blood pressure went through the roof after that comment.
Done. Never again will I see this physician. I am shocked that Scripps keeps an employee like this at their facility.
