Loved Dr graham for 13 years. I'm suffering from extreme depression since 2007. Was referred to a psychiatrist immediately. By 2012, I was experiencing suicidal depression. My psych Dr was leaving on mat leave, so I went back to Dr graham. When I told her I didn't want a checkup since I didn't want to live anyway, she stood up and said "it's obvious you don't want to be here" so I'll just give Sheila your prescription" ...and then she walked out. That's it. Treatment over. I was looking forward to trying something new. Something that actually worked. I got the ultimate "Elaine Benes" treatment.

Dr. Graham seems like a very nice person. However, she has missed important medical issues on more than one occasion: appendix, kidney stones, and life threatening heart issues(all the same person). We always ask for Sheila (secretary) when calling as she is helpful and accomodating. I think the message is to know exactly what you need from Dr. Graham and request specific tests.

Dr Graham is the best doctor I have ever had. Absolutely incredible. She takes her time, she is careful to deal with any mental or physical trauma that you've had in the past, and she doesn't get angry. Sincerely, from the bottom of my heart - anyone would be lucky to have her.

Dr. Graham is the best!!! She has been our family dr for over 21 years. She took care of me while I was pregnant with three children over the years. I was always her prime concern. She always goes over and above for my family. We all love her soo much!!! I trust her with every ounce of my being. She was even at one of my children's birth because I wanted her there as I suffer from anxiety and knew she would be able to help me through the c-section. God bless you Dr. Graham!!

Dr. Graham is great. Knowledgeable, a straight shooter, thorough, good listening skill, and pragmatic. I needed a hysterectomy but didn't want the major abdominal incision - she searched till she found someone in Toronto that does laparoscopic surgery even for a more challenging case like mine. I really appreciated that!

The doctor is quite helpful & rather knowledgeable who has some mediocre staff. However, the biggest complaint is that the wait time when booking an appointment is unrealistically too long. I've often had to wait 3-4 weeks just to get in to see her.Another rather distasteful item is that the office has detailed postings of various items and/or services that are not covered by OHIP and what the doctor charges for said services. This is especially evident in the examination rooms. It gives the appearance that money plays a large factor in the practice. One final item, is a posted message in an examination room which basically states that the doctor will only listen to one complaint at a time. I find this completely unacceptable and out-of-line.If I have to wait so long for an appointment and I should develop two medical problems that need to be addressed, am I expected to book another appointment just to discuss it?I find this appalling & again, have the impression that money seems to rule...

I've been with Dr. Graham since 2000 and she is incredible! I feel so lucky to have her - we moved away from the area but I still drive into Waterdown for my annual checkup and misc. She is kind and considerate and as someone else said - open-minded and not threatened if patients are also seeing alternative medical practitioners e.g Naturopath. She treats her patients with respect and has a wonderful sense of humour. I appreciate her so much!

Dr. Graham is one of the kindest GPs to hold a doctor's degree. She is knowledgeable; keeps current with new developments in the medical field; keeps an open mind about non-traditional methods of healing; and has a laugh that puts a spark into the darkest day. I've experienced her kindness personally, and have witnessed her extending herself beyond what one would normally expect from a busy doctor in a busy practice. If she wouldn't mind the title, she reminds me of the good-old-fashioned country doctors -- someone with integrity and kindess -- and a darn good measure of common sense.
