I had vision problems for two years in one eye, he diagnosed it as cataracts right away. Other doctors missed it due to the fact that it is not common in people in their 30's. They just blew me off or got frustrated that a correct prescription for my vision couldn't be found. Like I was retarded when it came to trying to figure out which line I could see better during a vison exam. Dr. Mccarthy covered all the bases with a thorough exam and now I know I'm not crazy. He is a great doctor!
