I’ve been a patient since the beginning & I find she has changed . She used to listen and be more empathetic but now she raises her voice at you, doesn’t look out for your best interest & has made some errors with medications. I always put it off as maybe she’s having a bad day but im questioning if she even cares . She does send you for tests but sometimes she is harsh in her approach . Punctuality is a long but she does apologize & the staff are rude as well.

Dr Acre is great. Her staff are the worst. They don't update anything and when you call they will say it was never sent when you have prove that the other doctors and offices have sent it. It's happened so many times. So if you go see her, make sure you follow up and check on the results.

This rating is based on her secretarial staff only. Who are incompetent, they rarely relay serious calls or messages to Dr. Acre. If you need to ask a serious question pertaining to your health. The secretary tells you to call another clinic. Where you're not known or followed. Being a cancer patient who is currently in remission you want to be followed by your doctor, who knows your history. Not by a Dr. who doesn't know anything about you.
Having had surgeries that have left certain complications.
You would figure that the secretaries would relay a message to Dr Acre.
Instead you end up going to the hospital Emergency room. Wait for hours, adding to the already overloaded system. Because of incompetent secretarial staff.
Dr. Acre herself as an extremely competent, physician in giving care to her patients.
But the people that she has on the front line. Are the ones that represent her.. it makes one think does she really know about what's going on with her staff & clinic?
And chooses to ignore it? Or does the secretary just take issues into her own hands & make decisions without Dr. Acres knowledge??

I am also a new patient with Dr Acre circa 2020. I am a difficult patient to deal with and she likes a challenge. She is a great listener compared to another doctor I had. For me being a listener is very important as many doctors do not listen. She also has tremendous amount of compassion for her patients.

Relatively new patient here. Came recommended by a family member. Each time I see Dr. Acre I am even more impressed with her. She is thorough, knowledgable, and caring. Plus, has a very good sense of humour. Five stars!

As a veteran health professional for almost thirty years , I am compelled to write this note especially during this unprecedented pandemic. Dr. Acre has been a family doctor to our family for many many years. Her unfaltering support, compassion, patience and devotion is only matched by her uber professionalism and exceptional guidance. In essence her medical interventions have literally safeguarded our family's health and welfare and for this we are and will ALWAYS be profoundly grateful.
