I had three surgeries last year to my left foot to correct a tennis fracture (the tendon pulled the bone into multiple pieces) in the 5th metatarsal (Dr. opened the foot up and cleaned out the pieces, put bone back into position with a screw). Also, had an arthrodesis of the 1st metatarsal (fused the great toe joint - from an old injury 7 years ago). It has now been 15 months after the surgeries and I can report that Dr. Mendicino's work was miraculous and I can walk, run, play tennis again without any pain and w/o any pills. Dr. Mendicino is an expert in foot surgeries. You are well served to get an opinion from him on your situation.

Good staff, short waits, excellent doctor that does not waste your time. Had my flatfoot corrected, never spent more than 20-30 minutes for each appointment pre or post op
