All of the bad reviews are accurate. Medical treatment is poor, but the billing is worse. I was overcharged for a visit and was only begrudgingly refunded my money once my insurance company became involved. I stopped going here only to randomly get a bill for a copay two years later when they wrongly billed me and my insurance for another patients appointment. When i called to have them fix it Dr. Wong became angry and said he didn't have time to deal with it. Several weeks latter somebody from his office called an incorrectly stated they had refunded the money to my insurance company. (they did not)

Dr. Hak Wong is not only the worst Doctor I've ever encountered, but he's up there as one of the worst human beings I've encountered. The guy has zero class or manners. He shouts when he talks and when he's talking he's demeaning, bullying and rude to you. He also sends his patients to collections even when they have no bill. Don't take my word for it. There are a plethora of other patients claiming the same thing, because it's all true. I'm more surprised that this guy's license hasn't been taken away and his practice shut down. This man is a vile human being.

Dr. Wong is rude, with very poor patient relation skills, marginal diagnosis capability, and very poor communication skills. He terminated our life long PCP with no notice to long time patients...unacceptable for those of us dependent on this PCP for continuing care. Dr. Wong is the worst MD our family has encountered....none of our family or friends will consider using him for medical care. Shame on Health Net for approving this person.

Seeing him was such a horrible experience. Going to see him regarding an issue with herpes was the worst thing I ever could go through. It was my first time seeing him and it will be my last. If I did not ask questions, I would have not received any valuable information about my issue. He was very rude and even rolled his eyes at me when I asked a question. I'm a very calm and patient person, but he really did it. I didn't yell, scream, or get mad but I know for sure that I am not going back to him and maybe not even that office.

If you have a problem with their billing, don't expect much help. This office is quick to send you to collections. Even though I was in contact with them to let them know I was trying to help them out and straighten out a billing mistake made by their office and the insurance company. Next thing I knew, I was getting a call from a collection agency without any warning. When I talked to the medical director of the office, Dr. Wong, he was very rude to me and was practically yelling at me even though I was just trying to clarify the situation. Sure enough, the insurance company straightened out the claim and paid it, but by then I was already put in collection. The collection agency was more helpful than the medical office, believe it or not! Consider yourself warned!!

patient of 2 years. last week on 11/19/09 I was out of town and needed an inhalor for my asthma. when I arrived to the pharmacy they told me they weren't able to get the ok from him and that he had yelled at them. So when i called the office from my cell phone Dr. Wong picked up and started yelling at me saying he didn't need to be dealing with this pharmacy and that he didn't need to be dealing with me and HUNG UP ON ME! My mother had to call him and tell him that if something happend to me (ex: asthma attack) that he would be held responsible. so naturally after an hour of craziness he gave the ok. today i recieved a $20.00 bill for there "ok" over the phone and a letter stating i am no longer allowed there due to my "disruptive, bad behavior and bothering his staff." I feel so violated.... it's not like i was waiting on birth control, i was waiting on my prescription which keeps me BREATHING. sending my complaint www.mdbd.ca.gov I dont want him doing this 2 anyone else.

Horrible Doctor. Would not recommend to anyone. His nurses don't know how to draw blood. They literally poked my 10 times before they finally gave up and sent me straight to the lab.

Dr. Hak Wong has a spectacularly bad bedside manner. Arrogant, rude, and condescending. Takes offense to the patient taking a pro-active stand in healthcare and wellness. He is also way behind medical advances, telling me that fibromyalgia and RLS are "made up." Refused to treat me, insulted me, and followed me out of the building, still yelling. An embarrassment to the medical community.
