Every time I see my beautiful healthy baby boy I thank Dr. El Gammal for all the support and guidance she and her staff provided my husband and I as we were expecting our 1st baby. All my questions were and always answered promptly... Test results always provided within a day or two. I ended up having to have a C-section due to having preeclampsia and H.E.L.L.P syndrome. I did not want a C-section but ended up having to have an emergency one anyway.. She did a fabulous job! You would never be able to tell that I even had a C-section from the small scar. She also did a great job with the entire delivery and the baby ( perfect circumcision and a nice inny bellybutton). Dr. El Gammal was very thorough and paid attention to detail.. At the same time she was very caring and responsive. I plan On going to Dr. El Gammal for years to come for normal and general gynecology. Her dedicated nurse, Shedina, was also a huge help. The entire Gwinnett OB/GYN experience has been terrible. There are a total of 8 doctors/practitioners you are required to see all of them, which means you have absolutely no opportunity to establish a bond or level of comfort with them. The majority of the doctors we actually liked. Dr. El Gammal on the other hand was quite the opposite. First, you never receive a "Hi!" or "Hello" from her, she just goes straight to the chart. My wife tested positive for Gestational Diabetes and we used our right to refuse the treatment thereafter, opting to go the natural/nutritional route. El Gammal used scare tactics and intimidation to terrify my wife that our son would come out with broken shoulders and could even die in the process if we didn't check her sugars daily. She stated "I've never had anybody refuse to do the follow up treatment. I would just think that you would care a little more for your baby's health". End story: My son was born 7lbs. even. Healthy and diabetes free! Stay away!!
