Dr. Goren brings new meaning to the words incompetent. Removed my thyroid and I gained 100 lbs within 4 years while on a 2000 calorie a day diet, gym visits 6 days a week. I was told not to worry, my blood work was good. 10 years later (with a different doctor) found out I was only given the basic blood test which did not include Free T3/T4/TS H. Test showed I needed additional dosses of T3. Have lost 80 lbs (while still on the same diet and work out program). Why he never had this test ordered I have no idea. I complained at each appointment until I finally left his practise.

Dr. Goren cannot be found anywhere!!! He was affiliated with Einstein Hospital, East Norriton, PA., but hasn't been there since 2017. Does anyone know where he is? IF anyone can provide up to date information and maybe a telephone numbers to make an appointment, that would be nice? Please!

Been seeing Dr. Goren for 20 + years now. Prior to seeing him, I had all kinds of difficulty with diabetes control (passing out from low blood sugars) until he regulated my medication appropriately. Yes the office waiting times are horrible, but it has gotten better post Einstein. Dr. Goren collaborates with me about my care and discusses the latest treatments and trends for managing diabetes in a manner that befits my intelligence and the fact that I am an active participant in the management of this chronic condition know as diabetes. I can't stress what a positive effect he has had in the quality of my life.

The Lansdale office staff is fine. No problems. But the wait is very long. Office staff says to call ahead to see how far behind the schedule they are, which is helpful.

Dr, Goren may be a good doctor...but I've NEVER been to see him without waiting close to two hours AFTER my appointment time. You can hear all the other patients in the waiting room complaining. No one understands it because he only sees you for 5 minutes IF THAT. He also speaks so quickly that you can't understand him. And the front desk staff....Oh my...they are extremely rude and have no time to assist the patients properly. It is truly an embarrassment. Like a fool, I keep going because I'm too chicken to change doctors.

I arrived at Dr Goren's office today unannounced with a problem. The staff was so polite and courteous as always!!!I especially send special thanks to Christine who went out of her way to help me resolve my insulin issue,,,,,,She made a call for me to the drug store and arranged emergency refill so my vacation would not be interrupted...I am so happy to know that I can always depend on this wonderful office staff to shine sunshine on my day!

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT become a patient of Dr. Goren's. I've waited at least 1.5 hours every appt. The office staff is absolutely the worse I've ever dealt with. Rude and incompetent. I was even hung up on when one of them called to tell me my blood work was fine and I dared to say that that was great, but I wanted the Dr. to call me because I had questions about my meds and was still feeling awful. She argued with me that my symptoms weren't endocrine related and when I didn't just accept her "expert" opinion, she Just said"ok" and hung up!!!! Dr. Goren NEVER called me back...the same rude receptionist did and she told me to go see my OB/GYN that it wasn't an endocrine problem. I don't care how knowledgeable Dr. Goren may or may not be...his bedside manner is atrocious as are the wait times. His unbelievably rude stuff is just the icing on the cake. Needless to say I have switched practices!

The front desk office is AWFUL. They talk about other patients, are always eating and make you wait when it's clear they are too busy surfing the net. Yes, he is a good doctor but the first impression of his office leads one to think he really doesn't care. A lot of friends and collegues too see Dr. Goren and its the same review for all of us. I think it's time to get a new doctor as there are no signs of anything improving.

I was very disturbed to read the audasity of some of the negative comments. "Grow up people"I have been going to Dr Goren for years and sure sometimes you wait a little, but so what! He is such a professional and so knowledgeable and kind. I have always found him to be a gentleman who definately cares about his patients and has a staff who are equally qualified When you have a large practice people are opinionated but look past the comments and see the quality of service you get.I find his staff to be very professional, working diligently to smoothly process all his patients. They are friendly, classy ladies who work hard and exemplify patience, knowledge, and empathy to their patients. You know senior citizens are not always the easiest people to get along with especially when they are not feeling well, so maybe some of what they are feeling is attributed to their own moodiness. Thank God we have a Dr and staff so professional and qualified so please think before judging.
