I have been watching “call the midwife” and thinking of my two girls, Helmi and Aili, who were born in Gettysburg in 1988 and 1991. My daughter Helmi is married and has a daughter that is 19 months old. Her name is Avella Jo.
Ann was my midwife for both children. I had both children with nothing other than Tylenol after the birth, thanks to Ann.
After Aili was born, at 9 and a half pounds, I decided that I do not want to go through that again!

Ann delivered two of my six kids. I absolutely loved her the two she delivered were completely natural no pain meds nothing. She can be strict when needed. After my second was born I started to hemorrhage I was starting to go in out falling asleep. Ann smacked my butt pretty hard hard enough to wake me and get my attention. The nurse brought my baby over and was trying to keep me concentrated on him. While Ann did what she needed to do to keep me alive. I love her and have and will continue to recommend her to every woman I know.

I've used Ann for two births. Frank is a good word to describe her. She is not the most warm and fuzzy, and my first birth she said some harsh things I still remember. However she is very knowledgeable and I had two successful natural births. I wanted a natural experience but also wanted to be in a hospital setting. I have high risk factors as well. The practice was nice, although they screwed up my permanent record and wouldn't change it. I'm contemplating them for my third but I feel like everything is done so by the book and I don't have the energy to fight them.

Ann delivered my son and now my new babygirl. She is a great midwife, very knowledgable, and caring. I would never go to anyone but her for any future babies.

My wife and I are having our first child and decided to go with Ann because of her vast knowledge in the area of childbirth. She is definitely an 'all natural' type of care provider. If you're looking for someone who will be open, honest, and willing to help you make the tough decisions she is the best around. She can be a little bit frank and has very strong opinions, but that's great for us. We love that she is willing to give us her opinion on the matter but still respects our decisions. We definitely plan on going back to her for our future children.
