Just hope she isn't the Dr you have when in the hospital. You can go a week without her even seeing you, otherwise she prescribes meds to the nurses on the phone, when she hasn't even looked at you. The only time she pops into your room is when you put in a complaint about her. She doesn't seem to read any of the test results until the day your being released, then she has you running around getting last minute xrays. She loves to use the word "dementia" when she hasn't even seen the patient. It's her fall back "buzz" word when she doesn't have the time for you ,especially a patient with a severe head injury and she calls it dementia? Not impressed. Worst Dr. on the Timmins District hospital staff by a long shot. Maybe she should take less time off for socializing lunches and focus on her JOB.

If anyone works for Judy is lucky. She put the extra trust in her staff by giving the extra work that needed for them to learn at Judy cost and she dedicated to her patients well being. Many employers has no confidence in there staff. Judy time is well spent by listening to her patients need for care. She is well oriented on the elderly care and she works well with the caregivers needs. 1 out of 5 I give her 10.

Dr Gillies took me on when I married my husband. I have nothing negative to say. She doesn’t push medications on me and always tries to offer alternatives. She also took my mom onto her list and saved her (and myself) many frustrations felt with our previous Dr.

hey staff is rude and horrible and disrectuful. she doesnt not listen to her patients. my dad went to see her and keep on telling her he doesnt feel good she did nothing for him. she told him she was the doctor not him basically she killed him

My family has been with Dr. Gillies for 12 years. When reading some of the negative reviews I was shocked and wondering if I was reading about the right doctor! Dr. Gillies has always treated us with respect and has always shown kindness to my wife, my three kids and I. She respects your personal views on medicine and won’t push unnecessary intervention. For those saying she is rude and sarcastic... she’s a down-to-earth person who just tells it as it is and we respect that about her. We often laugh together swapping personal life experiences. If we are in need of a specialist, there is not even a hesitation and she pushes it forward. We are not ones to rush to the doctor for every little thing in our lives, so generally if we go to see her she knows we’re serious. If we’ve been doing our own research she actually listen’s to us and take’s our findings into account and doesn’t wave her degree in your face. THIS IS HUGE as most doctor’s treat your own research or findings as “misinformed” or uneducated nonsense. With the internet today, global medical research is available at your finger tips and your “educated” opinion cannot be discounted. She is always a pleasure to deal with and we have a positive experience from the moment she enters the room. Thanks Dr. Gillies!!
