Terrible doctor! No computers are used in this clinic! He yelled at me while pounding his hand on the desk. Mixed up medication prescriptions. Doesn’t listen or remember what he told you. Seems like he has Alzheimer’s & shouldn’t be practicing medicine. Creepy weird guy. Horrible experiences and waste of time. No help whatsoever! Stay away from this clinic!!!!

Wow, those are really weird comments about the PAP smears. Dr. S. is ok. He's thorough. He's late every time but I deal with it. He does weird reflex testing that seems pointless. Strange exam. I am a 46 year old woman, 5'3.5 and 134 lbs. very fit, run 3x weekly and do weights. He tells me I should weigh "122.5" based on a formula he has apparently used since 1960. "You should weigh 105 at 5 feet tall and 5 lbs for each inch thereafter." I remember my grandma telling me the same thing when I was 13. I tried getting a second opinion last year, but she wasn't any better. Love the office woman (Neva). She is wonderful.

1st visit was left in gown in freezing room for over an hour with no one checking on me. No apologies. Called to ask if could get my labs and was told had to come in or could not get MY lab results that had to be drawn at his clinic when had already been done at my clinic where covered 100%. Again waited over 45 minutes for him to walk in and say your tests are normal and give no help for my symptoms and walk out and send me a $426 bill to pay!! Both times front desk having great time socializing and not making me feel any better about my time I am wasting. Would not recommend this provider. I am a RN and am a compassionate person and you are not going to get treated with compassion here.

I've been a patient for many years. His punctuality issues have driven me crazy but I keep going back because he really does know his stuff. This year actually the wait times have improved so I think maybe he's getting the message.

I think Dr. Schuster is a brilliant physician and have referred relatives and friends to him. However, it does get frustrating having to wait for my appointments because he is always behind. It is not at all uncommon to wait 20-40 minutes before he sees me.

I agree. I found it strange that I needed to strip down, although he told me I could leave bra and panties on and he did leave the room. The exam was really weird. I'm 52 yrs old, and have had minor thyroid problems for 25 years. I've never had an exam where a dr "taps" all over my body. And, before the exam was over, he asked if I had had a breast and pelvic exam recently. I actually think he would have done one. I lied and said yes. Seemed really bizarre to me. And yes, the picture was also weird. The nurse took it after doing the blood draw. I won't be going back either

Dr schuster took a Polaroid of me for his archaic "filing" system. It was uncomfortable as he took a couple. I was referred there for thyroid issues by Obgyn since I was losing weight rapidly. I had literally had a full ob exam a week before seeing schuster. His first suggestion was that I get completely undressed and he perform a vaginal exam. I asked how the thyroid and vag are related and reminded him I had just had a full on exam and all was normal down there. He said something like there could be many things on doctor missed. Needless to say I did NOT disrobe, I left. (he didn't even leave the room expected me to just get naked because he said so I guess and seemed offended I questioned his "approach method" to diagnosing weight loss). I reported him to my ob, asked if this sounded legit. He said no and that he would no longer refer to him. I sadly never reported. I was about 30, 5'6, 100 pounds at the time w long blonde hair. Stay away. His nose and eat hair and horrid outdated equipment alone should've scared me off. But since he went to "Yale" I overlooked that. Dirty old man in my opinion. weird boats and clutter all over his office in the back he took my Polaroids in too.

Dr Schuster was an hour and fifty minutes late for my first appointment, I was his first appointment that day. His staff assured me this was rare so I stayed. For my second appointment he was forty seven minutes late.  His equipment and how the lab work was conducted was a step back in time.  The reason for my appointment was I am not feeling well after my thyroidectomy. My hair is falling out, extreme fatigue, gaining weight, I am weak and have joint pain. Dr. Schuster offered no explanation because my urine and blood work came back all within normal range. He said I should seek mental help because I must be depressed. I never told him I was depressed and I am not so I can only assume he was not listening to me.  I will not be returning.
