We went to this Dr. He was a good Dr BUT.... Gave me an incorrect quote..quoted the amount the insurance would pay but I didn't have insurance so literally after my son had the surgery they slapped an extra $1400 onto the total. Total surprise on surgery day after he had the surgery! I then gotta demanding phone calls for the money which I said I would pay the other half on our return appt. Then 6 mo after the consultation appt which I was required to pay , when I went to the dentist , my Dr said the appt was claimed for already but I never got paid back for that appt I paid for..so now my dentist wants $$ for the appointment that was claimed and I already paid for to the oral surgeon. AND when they clearly told me I would not be charged for an x ray because I brought my own they put it through the insurance and collected the $$ .. well guess who had to pay for the x rays when my dentist wanted to take x rays? $145 out of pocket for me there too. Slowly said the dentist should have checked but he shouldn't have even claimed it because he said specifically he wouldn't since I brought my own. The outcome health wise was great but the billing practices were sneaky and they totally denied it all.. still waiting for my refund from the consultation appt.. the mis quoting was totally unprofessional especially to find out after the fact! Will never deal with them again.. I have never had so many issues with a Dr..relating to billing practices.

I went to Dr. Skoly to have one of my upper molars removed. He and his team were friendly and reassuring. The extraction was performed smoothly and without pain. Dr. Skoly kept me well informed of every step in the process. I appreciated his courtesy and understanding throughout the time I was there.

I have never felt such support and compassion from a medical team while undergoing a medical procedure in all my life. I cannot recommend him highly enough!!!

Oh, dear, I'm going for surgery on 2/10. He was great during my consult. Very reassuring. Hope he's OK for my surgery. We'll see. EEEKKK!!! I agree, his staff is not very nice. He had to correct the one girl many times.

I dont know how the doctor is but his staff is awful. I had to sit in the waiting room to wait for my mom to get a tooth pulled ( because for some reason they need a family member to sit there) and the people at the desk were extremely rude and would not allow me to even leave to get a coffee (which Starbucks is in the same plaza). Absolutly ridiculous, no reason why I can't walk outside. They said I case something goes wrong, I guess that must happen often. Prisoners from the aci walking by because I guess this is where they come. Very upset by the unfriendly manner of his staff. I will never come here

Tooth extraction, either not enough numbing or not enough time lapsed for numbing effectiveness. It HURT. I was in pain, and he did not stop.

I have had both a dental extraction and implant performed by Dr Stephen Skoly. During both procedures, Dr. Skoly was most knowledgeable, skillful and courteous. Highly recommend this oral surgeon. Rating 10+ Paula McNamara

Skoly would appear to be a brute. My 83-year-old mother was referred to him for a tooth extraction. He began the extraction too soon after administering Novocaine; the area had not yet been numbed. She was crying out in extreme, agonizing pain, and he did nothing to alleviate her suffering. Her impression is that he was on a tight schedule and couldn't afford to interrupt himself to allow for the Novocaine to take effect, or to apply corrective measures to ease her suffering (hence, he gets top marks for punctuality--apparently wouldn't dream of interrupting himself to address a patient's pain). And after all, what's the suffering of an old lady trapped in a chair, particularly when he's on a tight schedule? The infliction of unnecessary pain and suffering is considered inhumane. Unless you're into sadism, avoid this automaton.
