Wow, I was amazed that there are only 2 reviews and one of them is low! I believe Dr. Coe was the top doctor in the Iraq war for doing surgery on soldiers in the field. His knowledge is off the chart from a practical standpoint. He did my L4/L5 fusion which was a very long surgery and 4 years later I am doing well. The last review was a guy who had a consult with him. He is a surgent and if you don't need surgery, he tells you so. So to not know your neck was bothering you because of how you read is not something he does, or probably cares about. He just wants to know if you are a good candidate for surgery, and if he does a surgery on you, he is probably the guy you want on your side. I just recommended my brother to go see him and that is why I came to this website and reacting to the two reviews, one being not so nice. He is a great surgent....

Dr Coe saw me for a neck problem. No insightful questions on his part. Gave me some exercises to try. Never tried to find out why I had a problem. Treatment plan - "Take some Aleve"

I diagnosed myself better. Figured out that bending my neck down to read (newspaper, tablet, etc) was putting strain on my neck. I have self-corrected my sleeping position and how I conduct my reading.

Sorry, Dr. Coe. Hope your bedside manner is better for others. Won't suggest you to anyone. Good luck.
