I had full confidence in my doctor and the surgical staff. I have been very impressed with the surgical center staff and environment. Going into surgery feeling confident is half the battle. I cannot say enough about Dr. Baskin and his coordinated care. Thank you.

I had L4-L5 and L5-S1 operated on in 9/13/19. I improved for seven weeks. Pain became intense in mid December. When a new MRI revealed a new herniation at L3 -L4 , Dr Baskin operated on me , successfully, within 1 Week of our consultation. I was desperate and he came through for me. His supporting staff and facilities were excellent.

Only because YOU sent me this survey am I commenting. I mailed my MRI CD to your office on 9/11/19, from my law office, as per instructions from Natasha Darby, who said to put it to her attention, which I did. I never heard from your office about the results and waited a month, still taking the Gabapentin 300 mg 3x a day, but experiencing extreme exhaustion and still pain down left leg. Upon initially taking Gabapentin, I had blurred vision first week, unsteady on feet and when I called your office 10/10/19 and spoke with your new nurse (I believe it was "Jackie") about results of my MRI, she said it was never received and that "no one mails them. They bring them to the office". I told her I was not instructed to do that by Natasha and she said, "She is no longer with us". She said she would look around and call me back. She called after 4pm on Friday, 10/11/19, and said no CD was found from me. I told her luckily I made a copy before mailing it (law firm training) and my husband hand delivered the MRI CD to your office on Monday, 10/14/19. I still have never heard anything from you or your staff as to the results of the MRI and since I was leaving for an extended trip (which I just got back from and saw your email), I did not call again because hopefully "No news is good news". Jackie did call in an extra script for the Gabapentin to Main Pharmacy in Boonton since I was going to be gone 3 weeks and would not have enough. During my trip, I have only taken it 2x a day due to the extreme exhaustion -- I could not do that traveling, so many nights have been difficult sleeping. The pain is not as severe, but definitely moved more toward outside of my left butt cheek and travels, leaving a very odd sensation to my leg -- like a numbness. I cannot feel it when I "scratch it" and it doesn't take the itch away. Hard to explain. I hope this is the information you were looking for in your survey request.

The experience and the professionalism of Dr. Baskin and his staff was exceptional! Truly! Not that i wished to make this need for surgery available to anyone, but Dr. Baskin managed the surgical experience as well as, if not better, than hoped for! In fact, the surgical outcome was extremely successful and without complication of any sort. The ANS staff were helpful, in every way, steering me to complete all necessary steps or processes leading up to the scheduled surgery. The hospital staff, from admin to nursing to prep to general needs, made surgery day stress free. In fact, the hospital process was smooth, and the hospital staff were professional, courteous, and caring in every way. I can't say enough about Dr. Baskin! His brilliance and his professionalism was exhibited at every step leading up to and through the surgery. He explained every step, every possible event, every issue, and the expected outcome. And...he delivered! My "thanks" to Dr. Baskin, his surgical associate, the office staff, and the OR team. All great! Brian Barrett
