missed my broken Talas, and failed to see my leg was not properly set. Now I have to get surgery in Reno to fix a problem that should have been seen and handled seven months ago.

Went to Dr. Draper after first going to the illustrious emergency room when I slipped on ice and totally fubar'd my foot. ER x-rayed my foot, said nothing wrong but slight sprain then sent me home (after sitting in a wheelchair for over 4 hours-no elevation or ice given for foot). 10 days later, foot had bruises that went from the top thru to the bottom & crazy swelling. Dr. Draper said ER x-rayed wrong part of my foot, he did new ones and dx'd me w/ 2 broken bones, neuroma & severe sprain. Was extremely caring, patient and knowledgable about more than just feet. Very rare to meet a dr. these days with such a high level of competency, *especially* in Elko. Also there was an issue getting the insurance to pay timely, however his staff was diligent in helping me get the claim paid and set me at ease with their skill and expertise with the ins and outs of insurance, particularly TriCare Prime Remote - most dr. ofcs. in Elko have no clue how to deal with military insurance.

Dr was okay seemed to know his stuff . His office staff is terrible. Every time I went there I waited almost an hour after my appointment was set. When they cancelled it was an hour before the appointment. Just terrible and unprofessional .

I broke my ankle and he put it back together. 5 months and said it was doing good. Hurt like hell tried to get in and didn't have time for me. Got a second opinion and Dr said it was screwed up. He is a nice guy but thinks he's God and can repair anything. I'm very sad on my out come and the cost of a screwed up ankle. The only thing I want out of this is for him to recognize his limits. I know of 2 other persons he has messed up on and both went to Reno and had to have other surgeries to correct Dr Drapers mistakes.

I travel across the state to see Dr. Draper. I have tried to find local doctors that were nearly as good, to no avail. And I live in the Reno area. Dr. Draper is the best.
