no bedside manner, polite and professional only in the most superficial way. entitled and not compassionate. also doesn't have much of a network, the specialists he referred me to were almost all equally as bad, more than one had long since retired or were no longer accepting new patients. was not impressed with the secretarial staff at his Westmount clinic either, mediocre at best. avoid unless you are desperate or perfectly healthy.

John is a great guy and I'd consider him a friend. I've been his patient for about 6 years now and he's always there when you need him. His mens health program is a great way to get to know how well you're doing in health and he's always eager to provide guidance in health or even in life. I recommend him to all my male colleagues.

Dr. Katsounakis is an doctor who takes the time to listen and carefully explain his prognosis. He's very patient and I consider myself luck to have him as my GP.

Dr. Katsounakis exceeds any expectations. He is very attentive and understanding; you never feel rushed and you leave his office with sense of being taken care of. He has very extensive knowledge and depending on a situation he always refers to specific specialist. I consider my family very lucky to have him as my family doctor!

Dr Katsounakis est mon Médecin de famille et je peux vous dire que j'en suis plus que satisfait. Ce médecin prend le temps de vous écouter, de faire un suivi avec vous, de vous renseigner, de vous rassurer et surtout de bien vous soigner. Je m'estime vraiment chanceux de l'avoir surtout quand on sait comment il est difficile d'avoir un médecin de famille au Québec. Been going for years. Excellent, easy to talk to and a good listener. Like all Docs some times punctuality can be off but maybe because he does spend all the time he need with at least this patient.

Was referred for pre-employment medical evaluation (through Biron Laboratory) and found Dr. K. very professional with a genuine kind attitude. He would be my 1st choice for a family doctor, no doubt!

Dr. Katsounakis has been my family doctor for many years. He listens well and has a talent for assessing and identifying a sound course of action, including specialist referrals. His quick action helped me to avert debilitation by ordering the right tests to zero in on the right treatment.

He referred me to a specialist with an issue I was having, but the specialist didn't know any more than he did about my specific case. It shows that he has a lot of knowledge, but also the humility to say when he thinks it is worth seeing a specialist.
