Dr. McLeod is a strong advocate for her patients. Very knowledgeable and compassionate. I agree that you have to book an appointment weeks in advance and that it is hard to get in at times. However, the doctors and staff do make every attempt to get you in. I feel lucky to have her as my doctor.

Dr. McLeod is a very nice lady and her staff is excellent. However, I cannot actually see her when I'm sick. Trying to get in on the 'daily lottery' is just too hectic. Must call at 9:00 a.m. and TRY to get in for a same day appointment only to be advised to go to a Walk in Clinic. If you need something simple like a prescription refill, be sure to book AT LEAST 3 weeks in advance. Also, she seldom provides medication for a full year...normally only 6 months at a time and you have to repeatedly go for blood tests that continue to come back normal. She doesn't remember me or my health concerns and even had another person's chart up once. I don't feel overly confident with her diagnosis and 2x in the last year ended up being diagnosed and treated by another doctor (one in her clinic and another time at the walk in). Not good on her part. Once I did go to her office unannounced with sky rocketing blood pressure after she had prescribed medication for another issue. She informed me that I was lucky she took the time to see me and had no reason why my blood pressure was up. I reminded her of the medication and she said "Oh yeah...you shouldn't take that!". Good grief! Don't even try to go over your 15 minutes. Overall, I would never recommend this doctor. I wish I could find another one.

Can't make an appointment without a fight from from desk: want me to call in at 9 AM for a lottery same day appointment. Has a stupid, little dog that barks at my heels. Supposed to take my boots or shoes off at the door and of no real help to me. Full of prejudice and herself. No good to me. I have her as a family doctor because my son is deaf and was referred. She has labelled me an alcoholic, screwed-up my life insurance application and is full of it. Ask her how the construction is coming along downtown. This way, that way, what's the diff? I go to a clinic. Last checkup was perfect health.

Have had excellent care through several health issues. Both my husband & I are thrilled with the excellent medical care we have received. Could not ask for a better doctor.

I came to this site to check out another doctor's comments but figured I'd check out my doctor while I'm here. A co-worker once said 99% of the people that leave comments are the unhappy ones, I really agree with him so: Dr. McLeod has been a great doctor to me, I have suffered from severe depression since I had my first child almost 12 years ago. Last year when I was going through a rough patch she took the time to talk to me (not just throw drugs at me) and even gave me a hug (which sounds weird to some) that helped because I really do belive that she cares. I've been through hell at some times over the last few years but she has been thoughtful and knowledgeable. My dad died very unexpectedly at only 51 from a heart attack she had my cholesterol checked and only after trying diet, exercise and some very gross fish oil pills did she prescribe medication. I agree it sucks waiting to get an appointment sometimes but with the current dr shortage I'd be worried if I didn't have to wait!

She is now just a business person with her new clinic, she doesn't remember who you are or why she saw you the day after you saw her last. Find it sad she puts a pharmacy in her clinic 2 doors down from a long standing family pharmacy, gotta get every buck from the patients I guess. Her brother in law is Dr Daley our well known Mr Magoo neurologist and she defends him, read his ratings. Smart business person on her way to becoming a crappy doctor if the changes I have seen in the last year continue.

Dr. McLeod does not have what it takes to look at common everyday symptoms and find the serious or fatal cause. She is a pill pusher and a puffer pusher and thinks every lung issue is asthma. She makes it look like she's doing her job by ordering lab work but the results and thought work on what to do next fall short, if she even reviewed the results. Nice office, great staff, but thank God we have access to Dr. K who found the REAL reason for common symptoms.
