I regret to write a negative comment about this doctor, but I am completely disappointed by his attitude and lack of professionalism. Louis Coutu is an extremely nervous person, not in control with his temper. So he is extremely abrupt, rough, and although I am aware that it might only be an impression, he isn't qualified, competent and most importantly, up-to-date. after only two encounters with him, I realized that he was telling me wrong information, as I was able to make in-depth research on Mayo Clinic website and other resources. I think that the guy isn't interested in his job any longer, or at least, this is what emanates from him. When I went to have a blood analysis in a local clinic, the first thing the nurse told me is: "Are you being followed by him from a long time?" So when I replied it was only for a couple of months, she said: "Maybe you should seek for another doctor, as you need serious follow-ups and monitoring for your situation". I am fully aware that he isn't the best, neither average, but considering the lack of doctors here, I will stick with him for the moment, but I feel extremely unlucky to have this doctor. Not nice, not caring, a jobber. Like every other profession, there is great and competent people, and there is others. He is among the leftovers.

Awful. Extremely late. Told me that there was essentially NOTHING I could do about sleep apnea because nothing at all could cover it, but made sure to mention how serious it is. I was on welfare at that moment and it does cover a machine. Thanks for nothing, man. Could've had a machine and didn't for over a year because of him.
He also prescribed my mother a MOUNTAIN of benzodiazepines to my mother when she said she wanted to quit drinking. I'm talking 8mg of lorazepam per day. Hint: it didn't help. The guy has no empathy and somehow even less bedside manner.

I had this doctor 20 years ago for 10 years. I moved away and I came back last year in the same area. I found him and he's my doctor again. No nned to tell you How I appreciate this doctor.
