I first met Dr.Li when I was hospitalized, so I did not choose her. However I found her to be very caring and knowledgeable. The problem I have is not with her but the office. She is one of several doctors in the office and I believe she is not the senior doctor so I don't think she has much control over how the office operates. The office staff are not very knowledgeable, and yes the voice mail is annoying but I bypass that. I also do not like all the assistants that work there-one is especially rude and the office/rooms are messy. But I like and trust Dr.Li. She has always answered my questions and was very compassionate and caring when she informed me of test results. I like her and will stay with her. I wish she had her own office.

Office is dirty, ugly and filled with boxes. Full pee cups were left in the bathroom. Wanted me to get position for a second cystoscope without greeting me and her assistant rolled her eyes at me when I said I wanted a greeting from the doctor first. Office staff is rude. She is knowledgeable but I will not go back. She also wanted me to come in every 6 months for my problem which I thought was not necessary.

I started seeing Dr. Li 2 yrs ago, she was my second urologist as I have had problems for 5 yrs. She quickly diagnosed me with Interstitial Cystitis after a cyctoscopy. I will be forever grateful to her for this, but in recent events I have been VERY unhappy with her and her staff. I was well managed with my disorder for almost 1 yr with only occasional flare ups, but recently had a flare up so severe that I was unable to walk or move without pain being hospitalized for 3 days. I went to her immediately after for a follow up still in extreme pain and she was in and out of the appt within 5 mins, and left me crying from the pain of the exam. She sent me for ctscan for next day and I CALLED her ofc 1wk later daily getting dumped into voicemail for the results and come to find out only after driving 1 hr to her office they did not have them. Her staff has been very unpleasant and I cannot get through to the office, always voicemail. I am going to a new doctor next week.

My husband was seeing her first for his prostate exams, but instead of coming once a year, she demanded he come every six months. Then, during the exams, she would act very weird about his exams, causing him to worry - again, insisting he needed another exam in 6 months, as if she had to check something that might be "wrong". When I needed to visit a urologist, he suggested her because of her experience with women's issues. However, she wouldn't give me meds to ease the pain I was having, and the visit lasted 3 minutes tops, which included a physical exam. When it came time to FINALLY get me in for the procedure, at a hospital I wasn't comfortable using, her office called 1 week before and told me she wasn't going to be available that day, though we had scheduled this a month in advance. Then, they insisted they would hurry to reschedule my procedure, but called me back with a date more than 45 days AFTER the initial date for the procedure! I'm switching docs. Not worth it.
