I used to like the NP's in this office, until I had an argument with Cheryl, the office mgr, who is, in my opinion, the nastiest, rudest woman on earth. She made a mistake with my records, but refused to admit she was wrong, even laughing at me. Now the NP's, even my favorite one, will NOT see me. I have to see Dr. O'Toole, and I'm not comfortable with her. Bye Bye...you lost a patient.

As I am an older patient not in need of OB services, I do not have the concerns of a younger patient with regard to fertility, pregnancy and delivery. I was Dr. O'Toole for 12 years. I never had any problems with her office staff, and despite the long waits at times (she does have OB patients who need immediate attention after all!!), she always cared for me with the utmost attention and compassion. From my experiences at W&I Hospital talking to her PEERS, she is still known as one of the very best in RI.

Can someone please tell me why they are unavailable until further notice?, my Pap smear couldnt be processed, she said its nothing to worry about but I am worried, I haven't had my period in 3 months, cervical cancer runs in my family,, I keep taking pregnancy tests, they all say negative but i have never had an irregular period in my life..and she has me on yaz! Reading these reviews really makes me nervous, what is happening to me, I was hoping to see her on my apt yesterday, but when I got there saw the notice on the door, " until further notice" ,,, what does that mean??She called me back and left me a voicemail, she sounded under the influence of something,, looking for a new obgyn, any suggestions would be great!!

I have been a patient of Dr O'Tooles for 16 years. She delivered me and have been a patient since I was 16 years old. I can not get over the way the office is managed and the rudeness of the receptionist. They miss filed results of test and kept cancelling my appointments. The last visit was again cancelled, although once again the receptionist with attitude "called me"...yeagh ok. ! Then I go to this visit and they are "ClOSED UNTILL FURTHER NOTICE " OK.....SO......here I am 7 months preganant and unable to get a Dr ! I have not had a visit in 7weeks yesturday because of cancellations. I am to say the least totally disgusted with this office. Hope it stays shut down. If this is the way patients get treated I'd rather take my chances giving birth in a field !!!!!

I have had Dr. O'Toole for years, including my first pregnancy. Her office staff is very rude and swears they leave you a message or voicemail when they don't. I haven't changed my number and I asked them tobrepeat my phone number to me to make sure they had it right, but I never get their calls for cancellations or rescheduling. Most of the time I would have my concerbs directed to Kathy, and she could never understand what I was asking her and always got back to me with the answers to questions I didn't ask. Dr. O'Toole herself is very nice and personable but very distracted to the point of negligence. She forgot to tell me about my low-lying placenta and didn't tell me that my baby was breech at 36 + 38 weeks despite writing it in my chart, which the hospital showed me. That led to a csection by another doctor. Currently her office is closed "until further notice." Do yourself a favor and find a different doctor.

Otooles office staff is DEPLORABLE. They are rude, nasty, and completely incompetent. The first ultrasound I had was at 7 weeks, it took me complaining at around 20 weeks that i havent received another for them to even notice that the results from bloodwork i had drawn a month ago for my pregnancy came back abnormal and then i was catapulted from "not needing any ultrasounds" to "high risk" ultrasound. Negligent is an understatement. It got to the point where they would schedule my appointments, and then not even notify me that they cancelled them, or randomly closed their office for no apparent reason when the entire staff is still there at 2 in the afternoon when theyre supposed to be open past 5. And of course, every single time the completely rude receptionist would swear that she left a message. My phone number NEVER changed. Apparently, everyone else in the universe can leave me voicemails and i receive them except from their ever amazing office. DONT GO THERE.

The staff in this office is nasty and rude. I tried talking to Dr. O'Toole about it, and she didn't care at all. She is a VERY odd woman. I would not recommend her at all.

Dr. Otoole gave me results of my bloodwork, saying I had a disease that I did not have, prescribed class c drugs with no abandon without explaining possible consequences. I later found out she was responsible for a newborns death due to "gross negligence" and only fined $500 dollars. This woman should be drug tested as she looks high all the time. I left her like grease lightning after looking up what mark she had against her per the medical review board. If you think your childs life/death is only worth $500 she's your dr. Unknowledgable, careless, I would never leave the life of my son in this womans hands! She shouldn't have a license to drive, nevermind practice! Please pregnant mothers BEWARE!! Do your research on med review board about her . There was also an article about the babies death in providence journal.

Dr. O'Toole has some issues. If you look up on the state's DOH website, it shows that she was disciplined at one point for some type of misconduct. I would never go to her for treatment, but her NP's are very good.
