I agree with other commenters that he acted as though I was an inconvenience. Throughout this pregnancy sometimes he was kind and personable and others he was short with me and seemed annoyed. It was really hit or miss with him which I don't care for. I'd definitely prefer another ObGyn in this practice.

I was refered to Dr Gisi for a 2nd opinion. He walked in the room said I have read your file and I have an idea o what is happening bu I want to hear what you have to say. I was impressed(he took the time to really listen) Then he told me he had some concerns with something in my chart and asked if I thought I could go through a biopsy at this time (he knew I was in a great deal of pain)He did the biopsy, then told me what he belived the problem was and suggested a hysterectomy (he could even do it with the laproscope (I had previously been told it couldnt be done,it was too dangerous and I would have to be cut up my abdomen to do it. He removed a great deal of blood that day that was causing alot of pain,for the first time in three months I didnt feel like I was in LABOR. His sense of Humor is great, he has a great bedside manner. He took the time to really talk to me and answer my questions. He really tried to reassure me about what he was going to do and his ability to do it. GREAT!

Dr. Gisi took his time, made my daughter feel comfortable and made sure we had no more questions before we left.

Dr. Gisi is to the point, but will answer questions you have. If you hate waiting for late Drs, you'll like Dr. Gisi because he doesn't seem to waste time.

Dr. Gisi has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I have ever met. He rushes in and out as fast as he possibly can, and acts like you are inconveniencing him if he has to stop and answer any questions. Treated my preexisting hypertension like it was all in my head and suggested to me I shouldn't even be taking medication when I was 7 months pregnant with elevated blood pressure.
