Dr. Cossari does not listen to his patient's complaints - nor does he listen to the parents. He seems to want to link most, if not all, symptoms to food allergies. He doesn't seem to be a very pleasant man & didn't even realize who we were until our child's appointment had already ended & I had to remind him. Staff is horribly rude on the phone - marginally better in person.

This doctor is amazing. If he ever comes across as rude (which I’ve never experienced) it has to be just because he is focused and serious about what he does. If he is late because his surgery was delayed or he is with another patient just try to think if you would like your doctor to stay longer with you if your child was having some major issue or if you would like your doctor to stay in the operating room when your child is having surgery when there are unexpected complications ... He is so knowledgeable and thorough!

Dr Cossari is an amazing doctor and I would not have trusted my son's eyes to a another doctor/surgeon. People travel from other states because Dr Cossari is the best in his field. With that said he can be abrupt, to the point and blunt and people mistake that as rude. My son has special needs and a very limited attention span making him a difficult patient. Not only has Dr Cossari been able to get an accurate perscription when other doctors have not (my son was basically clinically blind in one eye while wearing glasses from another doctor since the perscription was so wrong)but he has been able to fix Chris' vision issues through surgery and patching therapy with an expertise seen only in a few doctors. Let me just add that only for a few months did he seem 'grouchy' for the past 4 1/2 years we have seen him he has been great with our son and my husband now goes to him for his eye issues as well.

The first review is completely unfair, this is a dedicated, highly experienced, talented surgeon, and a wonderful doctor, does he run behind? yes. But believe me if you had a real serious problem with your eyes this is the person you would want taking care of you or your child.

Terrible Terrible TERRIBLE doctor. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE. If your child has any type of visual complication this guy can't help. Dr. cossari is a very rude, uncompassionate man. He is very limited in his skills. He'smight be ok if your child just needs glasses for a mild vision deficit but if there is anything else going on with child GO TO SOMEONE ELSE.
