He is a kind, direct, expert dermatologist. He cuts to the chase, and I appreciate that. It is obvious that, in the field of dermatology, he's seen it all, and that inspires confidence. He is helping me and I am grateful to have found him.

I've had skin lesions on my face for almost 2 years and all he said to me was it's adult acne. He never even touched me or offered to biopsy. There is a reason he always has openings.

I hadn't been to see him in quite some time (years) and today I called to make an apt and he's booked out until November! Seriously.. ??!! Now I'm searching for new MD, that's an insane time frame to see a dermatologist. How many apts do you think cancel on him and they are turning patients away!

I waited months for my appointment. When I got there he seemed bother by having to answer my questions. He was very brief, not helpful, seemed in a hurry. Most importantly he did not help me with my problem. I am very disappointed, I would advise anyone to see another doctor. Do not waste your time!

I saw a number of dermatologists to treat me for a skin condition and no one had any answers for me. Dr. Mathias treated me and I felt almost immediate relief. I found him incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and I will most definitely continue to see him.

He is very easy to get an appointment with. Call one day and get in that same week. He is never fully booked which is nice and has a fair amount of openings every day.

Dr. Mathias is wonderful and let me state that the punctuality is rated as average, yes sometimes you have to wait in the office but it's because he is a good doctor who listens to his patients and takes his time with them. I for one would much rather wait for a doctor who is going to spend time with me and listen to me than not wait for the alternative. Dr. Mathias knows his field like no other doctor I have ever gone to! He is hard to get into the first time, but if you have a serious issue they will work to fit you in. Thanks Dr. Mathias!

Dr. Mathias is among the most experienced and knowledgeable dermatologist in Cincinnati. He treated my mom and me, so that's two generations. I don't think he has ever had a condition he doesn't know how to treat. He has seen it all! At times he's with a student or an intern of dermatology because he is impeccable at his specialty. He is also kind, patient, and answers all questions I had. I highly recommend him without reservation. The only drawbacks is that getting an appt with him takes at least 2-3 months unless you get a spot that someone canceled and you will have to be quiet to listen to him because I believe he suffers from laryngitis.
