DR. JOSEPH IS OKAY UNLESS A PROBLEM DEVELOPS. THRU HIS NEGLIGENCE HE DESTROYED MY DENTAL IMPLANTS AND BRIDGE. AFTER DOING SO TOLD ME TO FIND ANOTHER DENTIST AS HE COULD NO HELP ME. I WAS IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION FOR OVER A WEEK WITH TOP BRIDGE HANGING BY ONE IMPLANT AND RESTING ON MY BOTTOM TEETH. FINALLY FOUND A DENTIST WHO HELPED ME AND WAS TAKEN BACK BY THE EMERGENCY SITUATION I WAS IN. TO FIX EVERYTHING IT TOOK TWO DENTISTS AND COST ME $24,000 IF DR. JOSEPH TOOK AN XRAY FIRST BEFORE HE DID ANYTHING ALL THAT HAD TO BE DONE WAS A SCREW HAD TO BE TIGHTENED. BUT HE BROKE TWO SCREWS OFF INTO THE IMPLANT AND DID NOT HAVE PROPER TOOLS TO REMOVE THEM SO KEPT DRILLING TILL HE JAMMED THE SCREWS DOWN IN THE IMPLANT AND DRILLED THRU ONE IMPLANT. NEW DENTIST SAID I SHOULD HAVE GONE TO HIM FIRST BUT HOW WAS I TO KNOW WHAT DR. JOSEPH WOULD DO. SO NEW DENTIST HAD TO REMOVE IMPLANTS AND HAD TO MAKE NEW BRIDGE AS EXISTING BRIDGE COULD NOT FIT NEW IMPLANTS. WENT INTO DR. BUTTACAVOLI CRYING AND HE THREW ME OUT OF THE OFFICE. ALSO HIS SON DR. MARC DID A ROOT CANAL ON A FRIDAY CLOSED IT UP AND SENT ME HOME. THERE WAS AN INFECTION IN THE CLOSED TOOTH AND ALL WEEKEND I WAS GOING OUT OF MY MIND WITH PAIN. KEPT CALLING THE OFFICE CRYING AS I COULD NOT TAKE THE PAIN. NO ONE CALLED BACK. I RAN INTO THE OFFICE MONDAY MORNING AND DR. JOSEPH SAID HE HEARD THE CALLS BUT THOUGHT HIS SON WOULD CALL ME. HE OPENED THE TOOTH AND I HEARD HIM IN THE NEXT ROOM REPRIMANDING HIM AND ASKING HOW COULD HE SEND ME HOME WITHOUT AN ANTIBIOTIC. I WAS IN THE CHAIR ALMOST 3 HOURS TRYING TO GET IT TAKEN CARE OF. IWOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO GO TO THESE DENTISTS. DR. JOSEPH WAS OKAY UNTIL A PROBLEM CAME UP. DR. MARC HAD ABSOLUTELY NO SYMPATHY OVER ALL THE PAIN HE CAUSED ME. THIS HAPPENED TO ME 2 YEARS AGO AND I AM STILL SO UPSET OVER WHAT I WENT THRU AND THE HARDSHIP AT THE AGE OF 81 IN AM GOING THRU TRYING TO PAY OFF THE $24,000 HECOST ME UNNECESSARILY. I AM STILL TRAUMATIZED OVER ALL THAT I HAD TO GO THRU. I CALLED THE GIRL AT THE DESK TO TRY TO TALK TO HER AND SHE SAID SHE WAS ACTUALLY DR. BUTTACAVOLI'S STEPDAUGHTER AND NEVER TO CALL THE OFFICE AGAIN

After working on my teeth, and fixing everything he thought needed to be done...I still have a toothache and he just gave up.

Dr Joe is amazing and so is his son. I have been to both of them and as the old expression goes, the apple does not fall far from the tree. Dr Joe does not make a big deal out of something that can be fix easily. I know many other dentists that do this. Honesty and professionalism is what you get from everyone in the office. Oh one more thing....as he is working on your teeth, you may even get a little sonf from him. Sweet guy and great work. I hope he doesn't retire anytime soon but then again if he does....I always have his son who is also very nice.

Dr. Buttacavoli is a great dentist. He's knowledgeable and explains things thoroughly. However, I believe I like his hygenists even more (lol). They're so gentle and do a great job of cleaning your teeth. Also, I've never had to wait for my appointment. Early or a bit late, they basically take you in as soon as you get there. As stated before, his son will probably be taking over the business in the future. I have met him, and although not as personable as his dad, he's not bad.

I have been going to Dr. Buttacavoli since I was 6 years old and I'm 20 now. At one point, I had a different insurance for a couple of years and had to switch dentists, but as soon as I got new insurance I went right back to him. He makes you feel so comfortable while in his chair and the hygenists are great as well. I was a little bit early for my last appointment and not only did they take me in early but the paperwork I needed to fill out was all ready and waiting for me when I got there. Other than that they've always taken me on time. They explain everything that's going on inside your mouth and will answer any questions you have. The receptionist is so sweet and as far as I've seen remembers all the patients. Dr. Buttacavoli just recently welcomed his son to his staff, who I haven't met yet but if he's anything like his father, should be great as well. Dr. Buttacavoli is also credentialed in implant dentistry. I would recommend him to anyone.
