Just a horrible experience. The receptionist is beyond rude. She treats people badly just to upset them then smiles. Never timely. Never polite. Never kind. People need compassion - they come to when they are sick. These folks are very unkind people.

I WAS seeing Dr. Geary to treat Multiple Sclerosis. Appointment times were NEVER met - always waited for 1/2 hr to an hour to see her. I purposely started scheduling the first available appt for the day (8AM) and she didn't even show up until 8:30 AM. She increased my visits from 3x/year to 4x/year - maybe so she could charge my insurance for ONE MORE visit per year? My symptoms worsened over time and I would discuss my mobility challenges with her. We rarely discussed MS treatments/options available. She had not ordered an MRI for many years. I thought my only option was to "deal with" the progressing difficulties with mobility. It wasn't until I did some research on my own and talked to her about other treatment therapies, that she recommended another doctor (Dr. Donald McCarren) who is much more knowledgeable and up-to-speed on the latest available treatments. After he ordered some MRI's, we discovered my condition has worsened since my last MRI. I now have a new Doctor!

HMMM, what can I say, had a 9:20 appointment, there was a person ahead of me. Receptionist says the doctor spends 1 hour with each patient. Doctor showed up at 9:30. Had to wait a while to see the dr. Receptionist said she'd send a copy of my results of the appointment the next day. Went back weeks later and asked for a copy, but they weren't "ready". Almost a month later & still haven't received my records. Very unhappy with this doctor and her office. :-(

This doctor wanted to put me in the hospital for an EEG initially, but eventually agreed to try a 72-hour EEG first, since being in the hospital for possibly as long as 1 month (or longer) would cause me undue hardship (pets). But when I called maybe 2 weeks later wondering why no one had called me back to schedule this 72-hour EEG, she called me back and denied me the 72-hour EEG she'd promised. When I asked her to at least confirm that she HAD indeed agreed to the 72-hour EEG at my previous appointment, she would not answer 'yes'...she would not answer 'no'. She eventually hung up on me when I persisted. Now it's one thing if she had changed her mind (and I told her this), but to make a patient with seizures and memory problems already feel as if they were losing their mind?...not cool. Very rude.

Dr. Geary is very compassionate. She listens and doesn't rush an appointment. She answers all questions and explains all medications in detail. I highly recommend her.

waiting long time for appointment over an hour to talk to the doctor, interuptions, does seem caring about treatment plan and understands that your looking for best care. May have a good network of doctors in her network, not sure yet.
