I was involved in a motorcycle accident in 2002 and was taken to Westmead with a shattered 1Lumber vertebrae and was so lucky to get Dr Dandie. he saved me from a life in a wheelchair and then in 2009 he put extensions in which have allowed me to lead what seems to be a normal life. Yes I have problems but I can walk and ride a motorcycle and am almost pain free. This all due to Dr Dandie's magic hands and the hard work of his team.

Dr Dandie was very pleasant, caring and good humored and excellent natured Specialist very knowledgable and explains your condition and options /treatment well.
I would recommend him to anyone who required back surgery, I am still in the early stages of recovery of L4, L5 Spineous Process removal but i am confident that his skilful hands will be successful in leading me to pain free days ahead. His staff were also very helpful and pleasant and happy, which is a reflection of their employers attitude. I wish all GP;s and Specialist could leave their patients with this same feeling of trust and brightness.

I would like to thank Dr Dandie for being so approachable. His explanations were excellent.

From my very first consultation, I was impressed with Dr Dandie's friendliness, knowledge and reassuring manner. Subsequent surgery (Direct lateral interbody fusion L4/5) has been very successful. I wish all specialists were like him!

Dr Dandie performed C3-C7 ACDF in Dec '15. Prior to surgery I had resigned myself to living with left arm and leg neuropathy. My recovery to date has been well beyond my expectations. I cannot praise him enough! Many thanks to Dr Dandie and team!!!

My thanks go to Dr Dandie. He removed an Ependymoma tumour out of my brain in April 2015. It took him 5 hours. Dr Dandie is not only a genius in his field but I could trust him completely as I felt that he would look after me. He is a friendly and supporting Doctor. After surgery - which was a success - I recovered without any major problems. Now I even feel better than before the operation.

Dr Dandie operated on my daughter several years ago. He is a genius. Others wanted to fuse her spine limiting her movement for ever but he spent 1.5 hours on her and she woke up pain
free and was home after 2 days. He is kind and brilliant. She has gone on to lead a pain free life.
