I have been a patient of Dr Williamson for over 20 years and he is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. He treats my family and many of my friends and without question every one of them thinks very highly of him. I love that he is focused on my overall health and wellness in addition to my dental health.
He is very caring and well respected and I would recommend him to anyone!

Do not use Dr. Williamson. I have never had problems with my teeth until I had a mercury filling replaced with an inlay at the recommendation of Dr. Williamson. I'm not a dentist, but even I know a bare nerve next to a ceramic filling is not going to work. He should have put a barrier between the nerve and inlay. His answer to this is to go to another dentist to take out his $1500 inlay and replace with another filling. My partner is also having significant issues after visiting this dentist. Unless you want ongoing issues, steer clear of Centerpointe!

I have been a patient of Dr. Williamson for the past ten years. I first went to him because he was one of only a handful of mercury-free dentists around. I had a full reconstruction which included eight ceramic crowns and veneers for my then-chipped front teeth. The workmanship was simply perfection, and I have not had a single problem with my teeth since. Dr. Williamson is a warm, likable guy who is at the front of the pack when it comes to dentistry in the Portland metropolitan area. If you're a quality-oriented consumer and you want the very best for your teeth, he's your man.

Paid top dollar for a crown in 2003 on a tooth that had a root canal on tooth 19, lower molar. Could feel a noticeable margin at the base of the crown after installation, but JW assured me it was fine. The procedure itself was excruciating when he hit the main nerve bundle while injecting anesthetic. He got a good laugh out of it when my entire body lifted out of the chair, much like when someone is hit with defib paddles. Several months ago (Feb 2011) had to have the tooth extracted. The crown had been leaking and decay completely destroyed the tooth under the crown. Couldn't feel pain from the decay because of the root canal. I guess it goes without saying, but I would certainly recommend avoiding this dentist. By the way, he charges considerably more than average for dental services under the guise of superior care.

Best dentist around! I have been a patient of Dr. Williamson's for over 20 years (as have 3 generations of my family) and he is a very caring and gentle man. He is very health oriented and uses materials that are safe. I once had to see another dentist while traveling and he commented that the dentistry that Dr. Williamson had done for me was some of the best dentistry he had ever seen! He is very responsive to emergencies and has gone in on weekends for my family more than once. I would refer anyone to this excellent dentist.

Dr. Jeffrey Williamson is AWESOME! We have been going to him for over 20 years and feel blessed to be patients of his. He is absolutely the best dentist ever and his staff is professional and friendly. I am SHOCKED that there could ever be a less than perfect review of him. I can't believe that people have written with such poor reviews of this man and his practice. To answer the above lady's concern about how come no previous dentist told her she needed a "deep clearning": Well obviously they are all missing the fact that you need something special done!!! I have been going to Dr. Williamson for over a decade, and he is totally, totally, reputable. He has helped my family and I so much and he is also willing to discuss alternate payment options for those in need. Great practice! Never had a single problem!!!

I have been using Dr. Williamson for almost 20 years with no problems. During this time period I have lived in New Zealand, Arizona, and some other countries. Invariably whenever I saw a different dentist I was complemented on the work Dr. Williamson had done for me. These comments were unsolicited. I have to figure that the work must be very, very good for another dentist to compliment it. Dr. Williamson has worked on cavities and replaced a tooth for me. He has provided excellent work for my wife and daughter as well as my mother. I would highly recommend Dr. Williamsom.

Dr. Jeffrey Williamson is unprofessional & his business practices have serious ethical concern. His care is rushed & scattered. His rough & shoddy style reminded me of a mechanic attempting to get a hubcap off a tire in haste, not a dental professional implementing an implant. If you are pain sensitive, I would also suggest finding another dentist. He was more concerned about making his 12 o'clock lunch plans than checking to see if the numbing agent was working. When I verbally informed him that I could feel everything and it hurt, his attention was to look at the clock to see the time & then hastily re-administer the agent as he sighed & quickly attempted to continue his work without asking me if I was completely numb. In his haste, as he disengaged the dental probe, it ripped my lip open to where I was bleeding. You also need to be fully warned about his billing and post implant exams. I suggest getting everything in writing.
