He's pompous and rude . The receptionists are horrible.

He’s good but hard to reach. Wait time for appointments are too long. The office staff are rude and not helpful.

Had a video consult with this doctor for an eye issue. He has a great personality. Easy to talk to. Very knowledgeable. It was a privilege to speak with him.

Dr. Dhar has been my doctor for around 7 years now. He has a very dry sense of humour. He helped me find a way to cope with my food intolerances and helped we with some of my other health issues.
The best story I have about Dr Dhar is when I was suffering from a bout of depression, and he prescribed me with anti-depressants but encouraged me to go to counciling first. I ended up fixing my issues before needing to take any medication. He was happy to see that i got the help I needes without the help of drugs.
And to me, that shows that he cares about his patients more than any possible prescription kickbacks.

Dr. Dhar Doobay acts cold and almost seems annoyed when I have appointments with him. He does his job and has moments where he almost show empathy, but for the most part he is disconnected and cold. I suspect that this demeanor has a direct effect on the deplorable office staff.
The staff seem to act like it is a hostile work environment and are very clear that the priorities of this "private" clinic are profit based. Considering that I am surprised how many errors the staff makes. I understand it is because of an apprehension or fear to ask questions of the Doctors in the office. More then once I have seen the staff ask a patient to repeat what the Doctor just said to them because they were unclear. It seems to me the reason they do not ask the Doctors to repeat themselves or speak clearly is because of fear. I don't know why, but it makes me feel uncomfortable to watch. I only go every six months but I avoid it as much as possible. It has been this way for years but it seems to be getting worse, or maybe I'm just getting old. Take it with a grain of salt, this just one person's opinion.

This doctor doesn't care about his patients. All he cares about is maximizing income by ordering unnecessary tests. I came in for a medical which was extremely time sensitive. I stressed that this was for a job offer which was conditional on the medical and the doctor ordered a barrage of tests and took off on vacation without signing the form. I already paid for the test and now have to find another doctor to sign the forms so that I don't lose this job. The office staff are no help and everytime I call someone else answers the phone without idenitfying themseles. Test results are coming through the fax machines and no one knows whether they have come in. The office is mass confusion.

I'm a new patient of Dr Doobay and I think he is excellent. I have chronic back pain and he is the first MD to provide me with significant relief (and that includes seeing 2 pain specialists). He is thorough, knowledgeable and caring.
