I went to Dr. Hook for two years and not only did the same problem keep recurring, he kept trying the same things-which almost never worked. He did not even try suggesting I go to another doctor for a 2nd opinion until he knew I was uninterested in going to him-then he suggested I get my leg amputated. In the waning days of being his patient, I emailed his office to ask where a woundvac was-and got no reply.

Dr Hook seems like a great Dr. But the staff is what you will struggle with. They are clueless on a lot of things and have no sense of needing to get things done. They never know if you have a copay or what it will be. They ask you if you know if you need to pay. Wait time is beyond awful. You will usually get seen an hour or so after your appointment time and the chairs in the waiting room are really uncomfortable. I've been here several times and everyone in the waiting room gets really irritated with wait time and how the staff can't answer questions. I only came here because Hook was recommended as a great foot dr.

Dr. HOOK THE BEST FOOT DOC IN THE AREA BAR NONE. HE IS A VARY BUSY GUY AND HIGHLY IN DEMAND SO YOU MIGHT HAVE TO WAIT TO SEE HIM , BUT WHEN YOU ARE HIS PATIENT HE TAKES TOP NOCH CARE OF YOU . HE AMPUTATED MY LITTLE TOE AND I DIDNT FEEL ANY PAIN ,ITS BEEN TWO WEEKS AND I AM HEALING WELL AND DONT EVEN MISS MY LITTLE PIGGY. TAKE IT FROM ME FEET PROBLEMS , HOOK IS THE MAN .

Dr. Hook was so patient and absolutely wonderful with my 93 year old mother, who has numerous foot problems. She limped in to his office and walked out with a spring in her step! He trimmed and treated all the painful areas with a delightful demeanor. Terrific doctor!

I'm so disappointed in my hammertoe surgery. At the last minute (on the surgery table) he decided to NOT place the pin in the third toe even after the bone cut. I can not wear any shoes and must have a subsequent surgery.

The doctor's appointments are notoriously overbooked and wait times are forever but doctor is very knowledgeable, and takes time to explain and not feel you are being rushed for the next appointment.
