My son and I have been going to Dr. Hickman for almost 25 years now! It was a game changer that many years ago when we were going to someone else and they wanted me (Single Mother) to put $5,000 braces on my son. I thankfully talk at work and someone told me you have to give this dentist a call. He saved me $4500! He said all that needed to be done was move one tooth! So grateful for a sincere and honest dentist! Love the receptionist and all the other staff there! And will always go to him............ :)

Was overjoyed when we first started going here as Dr. Hickman seemed kind and down to earth as well as very knowledgeable. That changed, unfortunately, as getting subsequent dental appointments was an excruciating process as calls and emails wouldn't be returned over and over again until we were finally ghosted completely with no voicemail to Lily or emails to Dr. Hickman being returned. Very confusing and disappointing and ultimately caused my son's dental problems to deteriorate significantly while we waited for another appointment in vain and had to find another dentist and start from square one again. If you don't want to continue to treat a patient, have the common courtesy to contact the patient rather than leaving them hanging for months and months.

WOW ! We just met the newest member of Dr. David Hickman's team and we could not be more impressed.
Because of some freezing the smile on my wife's face was only half until we arrived home!

Went for an implant and explained that freezing wears off very quickly and that I will need extra. After several freezing attempts he tried to proceed by making incision and probing around the bone. Meanwhile I could feel it and said “OW”. He then said to me that “he is not going to listen to the soundtrack” and proceeded to stitch my gums. Very ignorant and has zero bedside manner. However his support staff are very accommodating and compassionate

Dr Hickman is absolutely amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable and helped me not only to fix my tooth discomfort but he saved my life. I was on so many medications, and developed so many medical issues and no Dr could tell me what was wrong. Dr Hickman changed my life for the better in a million ways and I am forever great full that he took the time to go beyond his job.

The receptionist is absolutely amazing as well. She is the most kind and compassionate person and is always so approachable and helpful. I recommend this office for everyone.

My wife and I are retired and we have moved out of the area but we have been with Dr. Hickman from day one, we will drive the significant distance, knowing the excellent care and significant compassion he and his wife offer.
His staff provided the best of care and my wife came away with a very compelling, but unrelated story , as to why we need to reach out and help others!
Our visits to "the dentist" ended when Dr. Hickman opened his practice.

Dr Hickman is an absolutely Wonderful dentist. I have been a patient of his for a few years and he has taken care of my teeth and implants with such caring and patience. He puts you at ease and keeps you relaxed throughout the procedures. My husband who is deathly afraid of dentists had his first visit today and was so impressed with the care that was provided by Dr Hickman and his staff. He now is looking forward to his next visit. Dr. Hickman is a great Dentist. Very Knowledgable in his craft. My only concern is a lack of communication with the patient. Dr. Hickman completed my ortho 11 years ago and it was not a straightforward case. Ultimately I had root resorption on my front teeth and WAS NEVER TOLD! My teeth had shifted and I was told that I could do Invisalign. For months I was told Invisalign was on backorder rather than I was not a good candidate due to the severe root resorption from the initial ortho.. fast forward to the present I now have an implant due to severe resorption caused by the treatment during the first ortho. In my opinion, he is still a great dentist.. just COMMUNICATE with your patients so its not a shock.
