She is very rude to me, but not my husband. I find that very weird. Now that I read other reviews, I have had very, very similar experiences. She talks about my child in front of him, something that the Pediatrician said not to do. If she doesn't like you, she gives you a hard time, and either asks inappropriate questions, or her mannerisms are inappropriate. She seeded to enjoy it when I became agitated with her. Her visits are 5 minutes long, so she is packing a lot of kids in one day. Good for the purse. I told her we might get a doctor closer to home,so she said she would not write a scrip for my son. There is definitely something amiss there.

My 23 year old son has autism and has been her patient since he was 6. She has always been respectful of him and of us, has addressed our concerns, and worked with us to make certain his medication helps him live his everyday life in comfort. She always engages him during exams, and I find her to be thorough and professional.

i have had dr kleiman for 16 years. I have 9 children that she cares for and i have always found her to be truthful and at the same time understanding. she always listens to my opinions and suggestions. she welcomes any input that i may have even if it is not the best solution at the time and will explain why it may not work. she has always been there for me and i have never had a problem getting emergency appointments. dr kleiman has treated my children over the years and if i wasn't completely satisfied and trusting of her treatment i wouldn't still have her seeing my children

Dr. Kleiman is warm and caring. She reviews every aspect of my son's care at every visit and re-assesses each time what to continue or change. She also advises me of new medical treatments or articles on his illness. My son's primary care physician says she sends him the most complete assessments he has ever received.

I been bringing my 8 year old with autism for 5 years now. Today was our last day and my last try to respect her. She asked me why i was having another child. Is that any of her business? My son has made progress but it was nothing she done to get him there. Every time i went i handed her the school reports and we spent 10 to 15 minutes there while she wrote down the information from those reports to hers she just asked me questions like is he healthy? Why does he go to his fathers or grandmothers on weekends? Shouldnt she tell me how he's doing? I'm no doctor. Last time i checked it was good for children to spend time with their family. Thank goodness i found the perfect school full of people who care about my child. It felt as if his doctor didn't care. I wonder how much she charged my insurance to see him for 15 minutes.Or are we charged more for more of nothing. Called a new doctor today.

I took my daughter there for a second opinion. She was not friendly. Did not smile. Poor interaction with my child. My concerns were brushed off and made light of. Tests were ordered but as it has taken 3 months of calling( no return calls back) to get results. In the meantime, she accused our family of having Munchausen Syndrome- deliberately harming the child. Thank goodness, my daughters PEDI is well involved and knowledgable about her case as this was COMPLTELY unfounded. We have had to find another neuro. Instead of asking us any questions, in our ONE appt, this what her focus was on. Her poor judgement, lack of response to our calls, and demeanor should be looked into. This woman has inappropriately changed my respect for DRS. I will get to the bottom of my daughters issues - just not with her " help" .

This doctor is a pediatric neurologist, so she works with kids. Of the dozen or so times my son saw this woman, she never smiled once. More importantly, she made a quick judgment about my son's movements and misdiagnosed them, without trying to understand the reasons behind them. She did not order testing that is usually mandatory when a child starts following behind developmentally, because she assumed she knew the cause of my son's delay. Because of this, my son is almost 3 years old and just getting a correct diagnosis now. We left her care for a better doctor when my son was around a year old and are very happy we did.
