After being misdiagnosed with cancer, Dr. Valencia, as my general physician, subjected me to an endless three month marathon of tests and procedures that had to be processed through my insurance plan (equally incompetent) by his staff, who on more than several occasions, filled out the forms incorrectly, sent me to the wrong specialist, or did not process the information at all. After implying that my teenage drug use was the cause of all my problems, he told me that my life was my own, and that I was responsible for solving my own medical problems. Three days short of dying of kidney failure, I was re-diagnosed with a stricture, admitted, and operated on in one afternoon.
