I agree with the person below. This physician is the most egocentric person I have ever met. I was quickly given cortisone injection ( 3 in 6 weeks) then surgery which he screwed up. Went to another physician, who stated that he frequently gets O'Hanlon's messes and fixes them. My incision opened and he tried to glue it closed ( guess what... it didn't work) then proceeded to discharge me, saying I did not have to come back for a follow up appointment. He misdiagnosed a post operative infection so I decided to go to another physician who resolved my problems and the incision closed. Dr O'Hanlon gave me no post operative instructions, had a nurse hand me a piece of paper which were not reviewed with me. I too, asked questions and he got very annoyed. How does a doctor discharge a patient with an infection, open incision and not set up an other appointment. Save your money and your life... DONT GO TO HIM.

DO NOT USE EVER! This guy is the most egostisical person I have ever met in my life and would NEVER RECOMMEND to anyone. All he wants is to do surgery on everything to make his buck.

I went in originally to be evaluated for a bunion in which he immediately said surgery is the only route. I then mentioned that a previous opinion said I had flat feet. Right after this he immediately recommends another surgery to do an implant called Hyrpocure that goes into your ankle along with the bunionectomy. Yet if I didn’t mention the flat feet who knows if he would’ve even evaluated me for that but once I mentioned it of course he recommends another procedure to do the same time as the bunion.

Long story short- went through with the surgeries. He gives practically zero post op instructions. Any time I go back to see him I would have to ask him the questions of what I should be doing, he never gave recommendations until I asked. Should I move the ankle- yes do the ABCs. Should I move my toes- yes start wiggling your toes. Eventually went to physical therapy considering he wasn’t giving me any direction on how to get better and that was the best thing I ever did. Not to mention the prescription he writes for physical therapy also gives zero instructions of the treatment they should do for me.

Finally go back in today to have him evaluate my foot after 3 months where I still have stiffness in my ankle and swelling in my foot. I’m just raising my concerns like any normal patient would but apparently that’s an issue for him because NO ONE should ever question him. He recommends I get orthotics made now even though I was never told before my surgery that I would need these made. The whole point of the Hyprocure was to get rid of the flat foot. So I ask why I need it after that and he says “I am your doctor and I said you need it and if you’re not going to do it I’m going to put it in your chart that I recommended it and you refused because I’m not going to be responsible when you get more issues”. Are you THREATENING ME? Because I asked you a question. I said to him so I’m not allowed to ask you a question and his response was that “We are not going to go in circles here and this conversation is over”. I said that this conversation is over because your patient cannot ask you a question about something that’s going to cost me $300 and I would like to know the material they are made of and additional questions. NO. YOU CANT ASK THIS GUY ANYTHING BECAUSE WHAT HE SAYS GOES. Please don’t waste your time with him ever. He may do good surgery but if you want a doctor that will treat you with respect and ALLOW QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS to be raised then NEVER USE DR. O’HANLON.

Not to mention his receptionist is also a nasty person anytime you call there. Even the people at my PT agreed when they had to speak to her. It’s always like you are bothering them. Unbelievable and unprofessional place and not to mention OUTDATED and DIRTY. If I could rate zero stars I would....

I cannot say enough to fully express my gratitude to Dr. O’Hanlon. Before meeting him I lost all faith in doctors. He has not only restored my faith but I am so grateful for the wonderful experience I had under his care. He is completely competent, reliable and truly cares about the patient’s needs, as well as them as a person. I never felt afraid of anything and I trusted him from the first moment I met him. He is the most gentle, kind and trustworthy doctor I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. To anyone looking for the best possible care you could ever find, your search ends here with Dr. O’Hanlon.

This was my first experience with a Podiatrist and it was better than I could have imagined. Dr. O'Hanlon was thorough (I have diabetes and consequent foot issues), caring and his procedures were painless. I fully intend to return for follow-up care and have already recommended him to my colleagues. Thank you Dr. O'Hanlon! Dr. B.

Dr. O'Hanlon was extraordinarily attentive, competent, and complete in his examination of my calloused heals and pain in one of my heels. He expertly smoothed down rough spots and applied lotion by to my well-treated feet. He then slipped on my socks, shoes, and tied them for me. I've never received such complete service from a podiatrist and I have seen more than several in my life. I most highly recommend him.

Dr. O'Hanlon is a good, old-fashioned doctor (pay no mind to his website that depicts a MUCH older man). Dr. O'Hanlon is a YOUNG family msn (I'd say in his mid-40s) who interacts with his patients with great care, respect and understanding. I was previously under the care of a podiatrist whose best advice was to keep me coming back for follow-up appointments, which accomplished nothing. Thanks to Dr. O'Hanlon, my foot is feeling much better. And I have options going down the road if this fix isn't lasting, which is something I was not provided with by another podiatrist.
